    What about the battery not being replaceable? Its one of the things holding me back from the Razr series. I can renew at anytime on Verizon, as long as my X lasts that long, it barely makes calls anymore. When should they start releasing summer phones?

    i wouldn't care about not having a replaceable battery when the battery is 3300 mAh. my Nexus S 4g only has a 1500 mAh battery.

    3300 mAh with a custom kernel and governor could easily be used for 3 days without charge, texting and some calls the entire time.

    right now the RAZR HD has only been seen in Asia, not released yet. Dont know when they are officially launching it

    pretty sure it has to do with having to support LTE in the US, Samsung gets around this by shipping the US version with an S4 processor so the device is similar on all carriers (ones w/ LTE and one without)

    I am probably going through Sprint though, me and my wife did a comparison, and Sprint gives us the best price for the plan we want.

    I would love the Nexus if it drops in price in the next few months, but I want to save up some money in order to buy a new laptop or desktop as well.

    I currently have a first generation Alienware M11x, and it is on it's last legs. The battery died in it over a year ago (can't afford to replace right now) and there is a major problem with the left hinge breaking (very common problem with this model). I can't play any decent game on this thing.

  • App suggestions..

    1. Friendcaster. It's a 3 party app for Facebook. The regular Facebook app is slow and freezes on my HTC rezound. Friendcaster is very fast and specifically designed for Androind software
    2. Tweetcaster. 3rd party app for twitter. Same reasons as above.

    Both apps offer a free and paid versions. Only difference is ads pop up on free version, but you can x them out.

    Benchmarks have shown that Snapdragon S4 dual core processors are just as capable as quad core Tegra3 chips. nothing you do on a phone is vigorously multithreaded enough for quad core to drastically help. most apps are single threaded and Android itself is single threaded. the S4 chip has even shown higher graphics scores than the tegra3. The tegra 3 will dominate it on other benchmarks due to having more theoretical processing power at its disposal, but in real world tests, the dual core S4 is just as good or even better than the quad core Tegra3.

    i'm jumping to Verizon once the RAZR HD or the Droid Fighter comes out this summer. same battery size as the RAZR MAXX but adds 720p screen, 13 megapixel camera, LTE.

    My MAXX is freaking awesome.

    yeah the note is way too big imo.. I'd rather have the HTC One X or Galaxy S3 once its released in June.

    I love my Note...people say its too big but I look at other phones and think they are too small now. kinda like when I got my first 50+ inch HD tv. I really can't watch tv on anything less than 50 or without HD anymore. Best phone I've ever had.

    People who already have it, how much better is it than 2.3.6?

  • I upgraded to an HTC one X last week. AWESOME. Incredibly fast processor. Never had an HTC so I was a bit skeptical but this thing rocks. Sorry, not a phone geek so I don't know any of the specs.

    I didn't even see the EVO. I like the built-in kickstand though. Is the evo newer than the one X? I haven't seen the one X advertised on tv at all.

    Yea, I am definitely impressed with it, even if I have a less-than-stellar phone (spec wise).

    Would love to see what it could do with a top of the line phone.

    I can guarantee that it is at least 50x better spec wise than my Optimus lol

    The only great thing about my phone is that the rooting/rom community for my phone is huge and they create some amazing stuff (like ICS for our phone, we would never get it otherwise lol)

  • I've got a Droid RAZR Maxx and it said there's an update available, but didn't complete. Now I go back and it says there's no update.
