*** Thanks for your feedback, changes coming in the push

  • We took your feedback and notes from the various 247Sports team message boards and redesigned the Team Site Commit List and the 247Sports Team Ranking product.

    There's was overwhelming feedback from users that wanted to also see the 247Sports rankings on the Commit List and Team Ranking. We took that feedback and added the 247Sports ranking to both.

    We also gave you the ability to compare the 247Sports Team Ranking with the 247Composite Team Ranking (see image), which should be the best of both worlds.

    We also took your feedback and completely redesigned the Commit List product. There's now tons of comparative information on the Commit List including start rating, rating, national rank, position rank and state rank. This new resource will give you a one-stop look at all the ranking information for your respective team's commitments.

    Our tech team is set to push this release around Midnight tonight.

    Again, thank you so much for your help. Your feedback is a crucial step in us getting it right, or as close to right as we can. We will continue to lean on you guys for your thoughts and recommendations as we continue to build out the network.

    I would just like to say that the personal service I have seen go on around here has been pretty great. The way that JC came over and took the time to explain things on our board and even took some lumps along the way from some of our more "passionate" fans really showed that y'all are dedicated to the people of this site. I know on our board things have been amazing since it came alive and I can only see it getting bigger and better with the way things are going. Thanks.

    Thank you. Customer Service has always been very important to me. And admittedly, I thought we did a fine job with it at Rivals in the early stages, but as the company grew we went away from our fundamental beliefs on customer service. There were a lot of factors working against us, but nonetheless, I take full responsibility for CS the last couple years of my time at Rivals.

    When we built 247Sports it was one of the areas that we were committed to making a mainstay in our core beliefs. We aren't perfect, but everyone from the highest to the lowest level employee works in CS. I can't tell you how many times a guy like Noah Stanley leaves some important project to work service emails or questions on the boards. Also, we are setup completely different than Rivals. Our reporters have bought in to the formula of all working together. Thats why you see the LSU guys on the Bama board and vice versa.

    We aren't perfect, but I don't believe we will ever stray from our CS roots in this venture. Let's face it, we are in this business because we love sports and love this business. Outside of backyard hoops, spending time with my family, there's absolutely nothing in the world I would rather be doing than working in this business and hanging out on the boards with you guys.

    We appreciate your support and will continue to work hard to provide a great service for you. Noah has some terrific ideas to reward you guys --- many that I expect we will be rolling out early next year.

  • Can't help we have some of the best athletes in America. We always finish around 8th to 12th in the recruting rankings and still field some of the best units in college football, so I would say Louisiana talent is very underrated by other recruting services and we need the credit where credit is due.

  • A cool feature, when enough data becomes available, is a pre-season top 25 (or 50) based soley on the composite ranking of the players on the teams going into the season. The "Recruiting top 25" as it were, and see how close it matches the final rankings at the end of the year?

    I am not saying this is the case on this site but I honestly think Louisiana is underacoutef because there is usually very little recruiting drama with your instate recruits. Who other than lsu fans want to read about a guy that commited to lsu as a 2nd grader?

    That has nothing to do with players that are ranked way to low because they're not scouted. (See Lucky's post above)

    Yeah the state is truly stacked in 14'.. Similar to the 09' class.
