  • Is Garrett going to be your HC next year?

I know that Jerry Jones is in full support of him, but you have to think that he's at least going to make a few phone calls to guys like Cowher and Gruden. Even though I really think he likes pushover coaches that let won't question him. I think Parcells and him drove each other nuts and not sure he'll go for a strong willed coach again.

  • I am a Cowboys fan and don't think it matters who is the coach anymore as long as he is the GM and invest anymore time and money in the likes of Bryant and Romo.

Well based on what he said a few weeks back, he's not giving up the gm position as long as he's the owner of the team. Not sure that was any revelation though. I don't think anyone ever thought that he would.

Yep heard that as well. We are now the new Al Davis Raiders and the laughing stock of the NFL.

  • Seems to me that Garrett is the first in what will be a long line of spineless coaches. Hire one, watch him lose, fire him and blame the losses on the coach. Wash, rinse and repeat.

Ralph Wilson has done something similar, without being involved in the team. He is close to dying though. Jones, not so much.

    Wow!

Never heard anything about Ralph Wilson being the same way. Never kept up much with the Bills, but now that you mention it, they really haven't had many big name coaches. Lord knows that Ralph has the money to spend and is willing to spend it. Look at last years offseason. He will sure as hell pay his players.

Ironically, both he and Jerry Jones had Wade Phillips as a HC. What is even worse is that Phillips was fired for underperforming, but he was better than all the proceeding coaches combined.

Ralph has tried everything except hire GOOD coaches. I'm still a little undecided about the front office. Feel like they have done well enough considering we've switched D schemes twice in three years, gotten Mario Williams to sign, etc. Not great, but good enough.

I thought your defense would have been a LOT better than it was this year. Fitzpatrick also seems to have gone bust this year and I have hardly heard from Stevie Johnson at all.
