This is a perfect example that you do not have to go out and look for trouble, for trouble to find you. Laws do not stop criminals from committing a crime. In Kennesaw GA it is against the law NOT to have a firearm in your house. Kennesaw has one of if not the lowest crime rates in the state of GA. If someone decides to break into my home for what ever reason or even out on the streets try to do me or my family harm, I have every right to protect myself and family. Mass murders did not start when the gun was invented, Cane did not kill Able with a gun. If a crazy person has their mind set on doing something they will do it. If they are going to break a law in the first place a law is not going to stop him. More people are killed by DUI's every year than by gun shots, the driving will drunk law does not stop that, and it effects people lives just like this situation does we just do not hear it on a national scale like we do the school shootings. So should we go back to prohibition? If you know your history when the country did outlaw alcohol it became more rampant than it was when it was illegal.
