10-0 never saw it coming...

  • BK has to be coach of the year. 8-5/7-6 is what I saw coming. We are one year ahead of schedule and Golson is only getting better. KSU is going to slip up against UT and that leaves USC.. Trojans I'm sure you're excited about crushing our dreams, bring it!!

  • As impressive as the season has been for Notee dame, I don't see them beating USC. I said that about the Oklahoma game though, so you never know.

    Real talk though, I secretly want Oregon and Kansas State to lose and you guys to go undefeated.

    ND-Bama would be epic.

    Too be honest I don't see it either, but I've been wrong many times ^^^this year. Being completely honest I don't want to play Bama. Our best match-up is KSU, we'd handle then easily.

  • I sure as shit didn't see Notre Dame going 10-0 either with the schedule they had. Some people were saying that Kelly could be fired at the end of this year. I'm not saying you did but you saw some of them.

    That being said, please lose to USCw.

    Also, I don't think KSU has to deal with a championship game either do they? Really Texas is the only chance of them losing right?

    That being said, I don't think you guys match up well with us star. All of your weaknesses play to our strengths, and you don't run the kind of offense to exploit our weaknesses.

    Espescially because kiffin let's it fly when he has nothing to lose for some reason, which is what he built this team to do.

    Not saying we're good (we suck) but I wholeheartedly believe we will beat ND handily.

    Rose bowl will still be an awesome season.

    The only reason we didn't beat ND is because our passing offense with Denard Robinson is about equivalent to pissing in a hurricane and expecting none of it to hit you. We had neither the QB, nor the receivers, we threw 5 interceptions, and we still only lost by 7. Putting Matt Barkley, Robert Woods, and Marqise Lee up against that secondary will be brutal - the ND secondary hasn't come close to being tested like that all year.

    I'm guessing that you're talking about your pass offense vs. our pass defense. I know that coming into the season everyone was saying that our DBs weren't going to be able to handle Stephen Morris, Landry Jones, and Matt Barkley. But did you know this: Morris had his 2nd worst game of the year (going by passer rating) against us and Jones had his WORST game of the year (again, going by passer rating) against us. I understand that you guys probably have the best WR duo in the country (although Woods had just 2 catches for -3 yards yesterday), but our pass defense has played much better than expected this year. This should be a very good game and I'm pretty pumped for it.

    Who outside of any team that has played USC this season can say that have been tested like that this season though?

    USC should win. It probably shouldn't be close either, honestly. In other words, ND 27 USC 20.

    Notre Dame has beaten 3 unranked teams by 2 TDs or less.

    I don't get the argument against Notre Dame. Do they consistantly look like a national champion? No, but there are a lot of teams that didn't consistantly look like it either that did win it all. Of the top of my head: '86 Penn St, '90 Colorado, '92 Alabama, '97 Michigan, '00 Oklahoma, '02 Ohio St, '06 Florida, and '07 LSU are just some examples.

    You don't have to look like champions every game. Just win them all and get the job done when you have to.

    The only time ND has beaten USC in 10 years is when we had a bad second string QB playing in a deluge. Even then it took a wide open receiver to drop a sure TD pass to lose the game.

    I like our chances more against ND than I do against ucla.

    Every team trying to go undefeated will undoubtedly face adversity sometime during the year, if only because it's easier for an underdog to get up for good team than it is for a big time team to get up to play say: North Texas or South Alabama. I think a few wins by slight margins shows character and resilience.
