Makers 46 and Four Roses Single Barrell are about $40-45 for a bottle in my are and both are really good. I normally drink Four Roses SB.

You can get a Johnny Walker sampler pack for under $100 that has 200 ml bottles of Red, Black, Gold, and Blue.
I've never had the Gold, but the Black is a good bit better than the Red. And the Blue is quite smooth, but I don't know about paying $200 for it.
Booker's is a great bourbon, if it's not Scotch you're looking for.

Jack is about as cheap as I will go. Usually stock my bar with Woodford's and occasionally throw some Makers in for kicks.
Some GOOD ones to look out for:
Michters Small Batch
Eagle Rare 10 yr
Sazerac 18
Jefferson's Reserve
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.

Dunno on Michters or Sazerac
A liter of Jefferson's Reserve is about 40 or a little more. A litter of Eagle Rare is probably 35. In SC, a liter of Woodfords runs about 27.99.
