    Yea, I heard something about that in the LNC. The thing is, nobody ever brought it to the attention of the mods. The person that didn't bring it to the attention of the mods then goes and begs JC to be a mod. Sounds like an upstanding citizen that wants what is best for the board, IMO.

    It wasn't in Lnc it was in the cw sanders eats poop thread. Mods were told about it also the thread kept bumped to the top of the page and i didn't beg jc to be a mod. I asked jc was he ready for me to be a mod. I said it seems like alot of things are gettin out of hand as far as rules being broken and he said sure we can do that. I also said i am on here almost all the time and sometimes its so much traffic we don't have enough moderating. Does that sound like begging. I haven't seen anyone else wanting to keep things under control and help out the Mods

  • All I ask of a MOD is to be visible and not just delete stuff and ban people behind a curtain. Also need to give people a warning before banning as well. Doesn't matter who they are to me.

    Sucks you're not doing it MM. You were a good one, IMO.

    What mods were told about it? Apparently not me or MM. Pretty sure Aussie found out by himself by going into the LNC at one point.

    Most people get lots of warnings through PM unless it's obvious.

    Let's be honest here. Being a Mod kind of sucks. You have to adjust your posting style and can't have opinions anymore without being accused of crap. It's a thankless job but one that needs to be done.

    This board isn't getting out of control. This board has been fine. You just want a little bit of power and its sad. I'd also suggest that if you spend most of your off time on here then you might wanna find a life outside the Internet. It's a big world out there with all kinda of neat things you can do.

  • Not sure what I think about someone asking to be a MOD, nor do I think JC is probably someone that I would think would make the best decision on who should be one (not dissing Delta). I don't think the staff is on here enough, nor are they in and out of threads enough to see who would be good.

    Delta could do well though. He likes to joke around and probably will post a little differently now as well. I just think current MODs would be the best to get together and find new MODs.

    Personally, I think FL Buckeye or Under Review would be good ones if we wanted to get away from the SEC fans a little bit.

  • Im with betteroff on this whole thing. I like delta, was a little rocky when i first got on here but i respect him honestly. Yea he trash talked this past week but that was just him having a good time ha. I also dont think he is gonna start blacklisting people just to do it as much as he trolls. And yea i think the current MODs should have the biggest say in who is able to become one. Good luck delta ha

    I like Delta. He's a good guy. I just question someone as quick to get in a pissing match becomming a MOD. I would say the same thing about Scooter, Capt, and Ich......all people I like.

    Not going anywhere and I'll give Delta a shot before ganging up on him, but he'll have to change his posting style a bit. I remember the Bama poster that became a MOD on Rivals a couple of years ago that just trapped people and then blacklisted them.

    Good luck to Delta and I hope he does well.

    I'd be power hungry as hell. That and I don't want to hear people bitching. I hear it enough at work.
