2000/2001 Miami Defense vs 2011 Bama Defense

Miami 2000 defense gave up 5.3 yards per opp play
Miami 2001 defense gave up 5.0 yards per opp play
Bama 2011 defense gave up 2.7 yards per opp play

Also, Miami played in the craptacular Big East. While Bama played in the SEC at its height of CFB dominance.
So, got to go with the Tide here. GOAT defense for sure.

Bama 2011 is actually 2.7 yards per play. Still much better than Miami's teams

Your dominant SEC schedule was Arky, a 7-6 Florida , ole miss,vandy, tenn, LSU you lost, miss st and auburn. Almost as craptacular as the big east IYAM
