confirmed by all LSU recruiting sites now ... Huge get out of Florida
Now he and his family are meeting with Coach Miles to make it official per our 247 site.
Long way to go before 2014 signing day but its a hell of a way to start our 2014 class.

He was impressed with everything about the camp from the second he got here.
Miles made a HUGE huge first impression.

Why would it be a hassle? No different than a player for this class committing today. You still have to fight for them. It's just the way recruiting is these days. No commitment is safe, at any point, until that LOI is signed and the kid shows up. Long, long way to go(if true) but it's better to be #1 than #2 at any point. Kid and his brother have fallen in love with Baton Rouge. He cancelled his trip for Bama's camp to stay the whole way at LSU. Sure this may be visit high but it means we are legitimately in the fight and at this point that is enough. If he committed to FSU would you consider it a hassle? Kid was thought to be a heavy UF lean until yesterday.

I agree with fsufsu that it's going to be a hassle. He goes to the same HS as Tebow and most of the staff from the HS are gators including the head coach who was a former UF QB. Also FSU has a lot of ties to the Jacksonville area so you know people in the area are going to be selling FSU and UF and trying to pull him away from LSU. He could have let the process ride out and commit to LSU later in his high school career, but now I think people are going to give him a hard time. Heck of a pick up for LSU though kid is great and already has the size of a college player and he isn't even a junior yet.

pretty ridiculous stance. Every kid is different. he may be a headcase or flake, but it remains to be seen at this point. It's not like this is the first top school he's visited. If your point is that it'll be a fight to keep him, well no shit. That'd be the case w/ any elite '14 kid no matter the school

Nease is a big Gator school... honestly him committing so early is too long to be committed to a rival school... if UF wants this kid as bad as I'm sure they do... he will not stay committed... Probably would have been better to have a silent commit on this one cause his friends and family and everyone else are going to be in his head for a whole year and a half...

maybe not, but LSU is gonna have a big year on the field and the defense will be a great recruiting tool for every top player in the nation. If LSU rolls florida in the swamp he'll have an easier time justifying his decision to his friends
