***2014 rankings tidbits (UPDATED MONDAY)

They have some studs on defense (Bosa, Moten, Al Harris Jr has major potential) and two or three good a** WRs but question marks at QB and RB. They'll still drum Bosco just like Armwood did DLS last year.

    I actually like O'Korn

He is the QB right ?

Yeah. I kinda like him too. Just gotta see him do it against the starters and not during garbage time. John Brantley III taught me that.

    Solid player

But giving him 5 stars before he has even played his junior is everything that is wrong with rankings

JC is great but this is a major fail

He even said he hasn't attended any camps

So what in gods name makes him a 5 star already ? A 2 min highlight reel of a sophomore RB ? That is all you need to get the title of best DB in america ? Times have changed i guess

So you watched a 2 minute highlight film of his and your opinion is more qualified than a guy whose job it is to analyze these players? lol You haven't even seen him play in person.

Highy doubt anyone drums Bosco, it just won't happen, but I can see St. Thomas winning, this is a down year for Bosco. Peppers transferred and they lost tons of talent. If Bosco does beat them though than it clearly will prove Bosco can play with anyone even in a down year.

  • WR Corey Holmes is gonna be a WR the big 3 will gun for in 2014, IMO

I'm not sure if I have the right guy here, but I believe Michigan will be in the mix as well, correct?

I still think Bosco wins, in fact I'm confident they will, but I'm just stating facts. Bosco lost all of their best players, I doubt St Thomas lost as many highly rated guys as Bosco did.

Yep, I think I remember an article that said Holmes grew up a UM fan.

I never said it was more qualified but lolz at all you sheep who bow to these sites writers as some kind of evaluation genius that is never wrong

JC said he doesn't even attend camps

His 5 star ranking is based off what ? This is my question

Nobody has answered me, they just say he is a beast and im stupid like its gonna convince me

All i said was i watched his video and nothing impressed me, solid player is all i saw

They lost their starting QB & RB, two best DL (Jelani Hamilton, Bryan Cox Jr), starting LB & a few other key players in what was a down year for them last year. Tracy Howard's team actually beat them, their first loss in their county in some years. SoFla can tell you better than I. I follow them vaguely. I'm more of a central Florida, Tampa guy.

I don't bow down to anybody on this site, in fact, the truth is much the opposite. I strongly disagree with their rankings and methodology for many players, however, I have seen Pepper's film, and talked to people who have seen him play live and from what I gather the kid is legit.

That is fine but don't expect me to just fall in line cause you talked to a guy who knows a guy and so on

I said he looks solid to me, but giving him 5 stars before his junior season is just stupid imo

Nothing about him seems 5 star to me and to get 5 stars this early you should just ooze 5 star ability

So much so its just obvious

    Hand ? I can deal

Peppers ? Nah, not right now

I think im being more than fair

    FSU

My starting OL for this upcoming season

LT - Cam Erving - Sr
LG - Bobby Hart - Sr
    C - Ryan Hoefeld - rs Fr
RG - Josue Matias - Sr
RT - Laremy Tunsil - rs Fr

Main subs are Golson, Denson, Kirkland, and Olando Brown Jr ( cause he is a giant )

Hoefield is gonna be a good one..

Well Bosco lost Peppers, Hamilton, Caroo, Yuri Wright, and Shummate. All very good, and highly recruited players.

Kid hasn't attended many camps as said by JC

He has a 2 min sophomore tape where maybe 45 seconds in him playing DB

And yet already he has 5 stars

This literally makes zero sense at all, and personally i think the fact they even have 2014 rankings is just insane

Ill look at them for fun but im well aware that 2 years from now they won't look nearly the same

This site had EJ Levenberry top 50 at one point last year iirc, now he is barely in the top 247

Corey Holmes should be a very good wideout. Hearing he is essentially a UM lock. Claims we're far ahead as his leader and grew up with Michigan as his dream school. Recently visited campus with his father and both were blown away. He will look at the FL schools but I'd be shocked if he wasn't in our 2014 class.

    In case you were wondering

Hahaha, ok. Big year in Florida for receivers. Ermon Lane, Ryeshene Bronson, Jacob McCrary, Johnnie Dixon, Artavis Scott, Clint Stephens and a few others are all > Corey Holmes. I'd love to have him but he's not gonna break anybody's class going to Michigan.

    And lol @ a 2014 lock

I used the word essentially for a reason

And I didn't post that saying "haha we'll land him and you guys won't so your guys' class will suck". I posted that to inform you what we're hearing since you brought up his name
