  • Why don't people understand this? Unless I'm missing something, you do realize this is an established account with almost 25k followers on twitter that posts rumors regarding coaching searches. Its a very interesting follow on twitter, gives a peak into things that might be going on behind the scenes and is fun to read/talk about.

    Why wouldn't you want to have a board for that?

  • I understand 247's apparent intent to jump into the skewed 'journalism' waters of CNN and fox (and thereby enjoy the ratings therein), however some people enjoy some level of integrity in their news sources. The rumors board will be used mainly to post flames on your rivals and other erroneous information so as to mislead others.
    247 has traditionally been a source of credible and trustworthy info (w/ some noted errors, but predominately trustworthy). The rumors board just seems like an open gate to allow a great amount of erroneous information and thereby dilute the site as a whole.

    If you can't see the enormous propensity for erroneous information, then I am sure you have not comprehended my message above.

    The rumors board will be the equivalent of a trainwreck. A lot of people wont like what is happening over there, but they still wont be able to look away

    No thats not what the board is for. Its for the people that run the FootballRumorMill to post their rumors and what they are hearing and for posters who wants to discuss a topics merits to do so.
