  • As a Jags fan, I would LOVE this draft if this is how it worked out. But it won't and we will take a punter in the 2nd and a LB from South Dakota State Tech School For the Blind in the 3rd.

    1st- Jarvis Jones DE/LB
    2nd- Matt Barkley QB
    3rd- Eddie Lacy RB

  • Do not like the Browns selection of Teo. D'Qwell Jackson has been solid in the middle for them. I would rather get Warmack (LG) to go next to Joe Thomas (LT).

    If he fell far enough though, I would grab Moore (DE/OLB) from Texas A&M though.

    The Browns need help on the OL and with the pass rush, IMO.

    Hold out hope. Gene Smith is good as gone. The one and only positive thing going on with the Jags right niw is Khan seems like a guy that won't tolerate this garbage anymore. Don't know how it will work out but at least he seems like he'll do everything he can to try instead of settling

  • I do not like the Barkley pick, because he reminds me to much of Gabbert since both crumble under pressure in the pocket. Plus USC QBs have not exactly been good in the NFL

    1. DE/LB Damontre Moore
    2. OL Barrett Jones
    3. CB Desmond Trufant

    I would love the Lions picking Damontre Moore. Is he worth a top 5 pick though? If there's an elite CB on the board in the first round, I'd want us to take him. But I would not complain with this in the first three rounds, as those are our three biggest needs.

    Damontre is definitely worth a top 5 pick but there's a good chance that he comes back for his senior year.

    Not completely defending the guy, but I wouldn't knock Geno going #1.

    It's a QB driven league and regardless of worth, one of the QB's more times than not rise to the surface. He is right that the year Cam went #1, everyone was saying that it was a down year for QBs and that he was a mid 1st round pick at best.

    That year ended with about 5 first round QBs taken, IIRC.

    Once they hit the combine and individual workouts, one of the QBs if not more will see their stock skyrocket.

    I tell people all the time Matt Barkley will go in 1st round, I believe his stock is going to rise once senior bowl, combine and individual workouts start. Happens every year.

  • Around 85% of all mock drafts on the Internet updated since November have Geno Smith as number one. 24 out of 29 mock drafts updated in December have Geno Smith at number one. I don't like him either, but unless something crazy happens, he's the consensus pick for number one.

    The best is his 2014 draft. Manziel No. 2 overall and Bridgewater No. 3. overall.

    Both will be continue to do well in college (and be a ton of fun to watch), but not in the NFL. IMO.

  • I would be really disappointed with Green Bay taking a WR, RB, and TE. They absolutely NEED OL help and not taking 1 in the first 3 rounds wouldn't be good.

    for those of you counting at home, yes that is 3 Dbs in 3 rounds. our secondary is really that bad. all three would start day 1
