Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

  • For 300 million I could give up sports and alcohol. Thats just too much money. 3 million to not watch sports ever again? Not a chance.

Your mood wouldn't be appreciably any different with 3 million as opposed to 300 million.

After the the stress of meeting basic needs is removed it doesn't really matter how many zeros there are.

Adding those 2 zero's would change things. With 3 million, I am still working. With 300 million, I do as my heart delights.

    You could.

You wouldn't be any happier or less happy though.

  • Well, since there would be no way to enforce that directive, absolutely. I'd take the 3 million and eat out at a BW3's that same evening. Sorry, but 3 million is worth more than my word to some idiot offering me a bunch of money to never watch sports again.

Would love to be able to send her to any college she wants, or afford the best tutors, or any hobby she is interested in.

  • Never! What the hell else is there to do on Saturdays in the fall? And then what's the point of the 9 months after that where we all debate what's going to happen for those 3 months?

If you have that opportunity and you don't take it, you're either brain dead or rich already. Like I said, there's no way to enforce that directive, unless the conditions of having that 3 million includes you being monitored to determine with finality that you haven't watched any sports. If that condition is added to the list, count me out. I wouldn't want to be under surveillance for the rest of my life. Otherwise, it's one small fib for $3 million. It's like Brady Hoke lying about his commits' offers getting pulled for visiting other schools. He made the decision to backtrack on his word so he could secure some much needed players. Can't blame him for setting aside integrity for an important situation. Oh yeah, because I can: 26-21.

I believe we already argued about this in a thread a buckeye created.

For the last time, he does NOT pull their offer if they visit somewhere else. He just considers them de-committed and if someone else wants to commit and uses that player's spot before they decide to re-commit they're SOL. Do you understand yet?
