Actually, it's almost exactly the same. But if losing in the Sweet 16 with a #1 seed works for you guys, more power to you. It's smart to lower your expectations in Izzo's waning years. No need to set yourselves up for more disappointment than absolutely necessary.

It's still Rich Rod's fault
How do you explain it? RR gets hired, UM tanks and ** poof ** MSU suddenly looks like a good football team. Then, RR gets fired, UM returns to national prominence and ** poof ** MSU returns to sucking. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Had a discussion with Cope last week. In only 3 of the last 25 years has MSU finished the season with a higher winning % than Michigan. All 3 of those years, Richrod was the coach at Michigan. You have to wonder at this point if coach D is as good as they pump him up to be. He hasn't finished a season with a higher win % than a Michigan coach not named Richrod.

That it's easy to win in the Big East, and Pac-12 when USC sucks.
Rich Rod was a terrible coach for Michigan, can't spin it any other way.
Coach D regressed to a 6-6 year in his 5th year as HC, isn't he supposed to be god to you guys?

MSU and UM both won 11 games in 2011, MSU beat UM by 14.. but MSU lost in the B1G Title game.. there's not a question as to which team was better
