5 places u want to see a game at b4 you croak

  • Never been to PSU. Il say that first.

Wisconsin is a bunch if Dbags, but the atmosphere is pretty amazing. And even though their women are pigs, the city is pretty cool.

Skip Wisconsin and come to Happy Valley.

Madison is supposed to be a cool place, but if we're talking strictly football you should see the Beav.

I'd even put Michigan and OSU's stadium above UW, and I hate them.

Tell me you'll not play that hideous panther roar every time you get a snap without fumbling and I'd consider watching a game there
    It's even annoying on TV

Was thinking about hitting some college games outside the South next season. Trying to pick places to go isn't easy.

What 5 places would you want to see a game at???

Not somewhere that you would think of, but Missoula, Montana to a Montana Grizzlies game is wonderful. Beautiful setting and the crowd and tailgating is fantastic.

PSU doesn't have a panther roar. Also, the sound you're referring to isn't played all that often...

Also, thinking about App State or Western Carolina. Two awesome towns.

  • 1. Army-Navy: I love this game and all it represents
    2. OSU-UM: Either at the Horseshoe or Big House. Great rivalry and I want to see just how heated it really is compared to AU-bama
    3. USC-ND in South Bend
    4. OU-UT in Dallas
    5. Any big game at night in Autzen

  • Besides the Shoe, college stadiums I've already visited:

Big House - most overrated, boring stadium I've ever seen; they had to mic the band to get it above a whisper and this was The Game for Christ's sake
The Coliseum - also boring and way too quiet
ND twice - nothing special but the Irish got crushed both times so it was good for lulz
Superdome twice - A&M in '99 and Arkansas in '11
Rose Bowl twice - ASU in '97 and Oregon in '10
Sun Devil Stadium twice - Miami in '03 and ND in '06
Beaver Stadium - pretty decent but the lion roar over the PA every 30 seconds is annoying as fvck
Camp Randall - cool setting, but Jump Around is the most overhyped "tradition" in football, and UW has the worst fans I've ever encountered
Ross-Ade twice - not bad for a glorified high school stadium
Indiana Memorial twice - zzzzzzzzzzzzz, but tailgating is good
Spartan Stadium - a lot better than big brother's stadium, so they've got that going for them
Nebraska Memorial - awesome time, I will be going back when the Huskers rotate back on to the schedule
Texas Memorial - another awesome stadium, but could use a few more entrance/exits

There are at least 5 stadiums in the SEC I plan on seeing at some point so I'm going to exclude that conference from my list. My top 5 non-SEC in no particular order would be:

    Autzen Stadium
    Lane Stadium
    Doak Campbell Stadium
    Oklahoma Memorial
    Clemson Memorial

    Honorable Mention:

    Army-Navy at either stadium
    Husky Stadium
    Kinnick Stadium
Bronco Stadium (just to piss on the stupid blue turf)
Orange Bowl if it hadn't been torn down
