    Seriously, when do other conferences just quit playing? This is absurdly ridiculous. We are too good at this sport.

    And to think this Alabama team was in a down swing this year and destroyed ND's best team in 25 years. Also finished #1 defense in the country for the 2nd straight year.

    The SEC should seriously consider forming a FBS Champions Division....only the big boys.

    The last time I remember Alabama playing Miami was in the 93 Sugar Bowl. "The U" was defending their title, 31 game winning streak, and Alabama RIPIED their azzes 34-13 to win the natty.

    Actually, you are right. "The U" got processed in Jan 1993, by Gene MF'in Stallings. Gomez undoubtedly was a casualty.
