To be fair... The SEC hasnt just dominated the BCS era. You might snatch one here and there...But the SEC will always be the best conf. To many big name teams to stay away from the spolight for more than a couple years.

History repeating itself doesnt work out very well for Duh U. And the speaking a sentence thing....Really?? The same kids that play at bama or AU or Fla or Tenn are the same kids that play for Duh U. And I say Duh for a reason. Its not like your school is better than any of ours. But you can feel free to try anything possible to act like you are better...

Maybe you guys should go back to the beg least...You might be able to win more than 8 games there. In the ACC you are second rate to such power houses like say...DUKE! Quit cryin. The media bias is crap. Play in a conf that you actually have big games EVERY week. Instead of one game a year.

2003 USC beat Auburn 23-0. Auburn turned around and lost 17-3 to GT the following week. Then, abandoned the stupid zone blocking scheme that new OC Hugh Nall installed. Three weeks later, we beat #7 Tennessee and followed that up with a win at #7 Arkansas.

The 2004 Auburn team played one close game (10-9 win over #5 LSU). The Sugar Bowl against Va Tech was 16-13 but was close only on the scoreboard (16-0 after 3 quarters).

What was most annoying about the 2004 season was that the clowns on ESPN kept saying if Auburn beats Georgia, we'll vote them #2. Now, they need to prove it on the field against Bama. If they beat UT a second time, we'll vote them #2. None of them ever moved Auburn up. That was when I knew ESPN sucked.

I have no clue what the SEC's record in the following years has anything with the current year, but anyways they played you the year before at Auburn and beat you down. One year later they were 10xx better any 1 can have a close game during the regualr season but the fact they beat OU 55-19 in the title game and you barely beat VT you cant argue. They basically had a NFL player at almost every position, Tommy Tubberville vs. Pete Caroll in a NC game talk bout a mismatch...

The fact that the SEC has never lost a bcs title game means something.

Auburn was up 16-0 in the fourth. The final TD that Va Tech scored was because our first round corner -- not the second or fifth rounders that also inhabited the secondary -- slipped on the turf for the ONLY td he allowed all season.

Fact is that Auburn dominated the SEC for 8 of our 9 contests and USC merely escaped the regular season

Smooth is correct. Maybe Auburn should have been in that game but they would have been smashed by SC. Probably not as badly as OU though.

Just don't make them play 4-7 Stanford or 6-6 UCLA, because they'll struggle to survive..

The would be championships for both of those teams was played in 05 and 09. That's what they're referred to as. Bama just won the 2013 bcs national championship. You claimed 04 USC would've wiped the floor with auburn, but they beat 4-7 Stanford by 3 and 6-6 UCLA by 5. This is the team that you said could match up with any team ever. Maybe on paper it appeared that way, but on the field they had plenty of close calls with average and bad teams.

WGAS about the season before? Auburn lost 5 games that year. In 03 they also lost to UGA 27-6, LSU 31-7, and ole miss 24-20. Going by your logic the should've had no shot to beat LSU and UGA. However, they beat ole miss 35-14, LSU 10-9, and UGA 24-6. How the hell did that happen when UGA and LSU blew them out the previous year?
