  • What you forgot to mention is that USC got screwed in 08 would of killed Florida and Colt Mccoy got hurt against Bama who knows who would of won that game, the polls give SEC a huge adv they can lose 1 game and still make the title game, SEC bias..

So where were you fallgoots when the U was RIPIENG your azz back in the day???

PVssies!!! We'll be back in a couple years with a vengeance and don't wanna hear excuses when our kids can actually speak a sentence and yours dabbles in trailer park education as they wonder why they didn't win a title after getting said cash from boosters to win titles! LMAO!!

History repeats itself and if you don't know your past, you don't know your future.

    See you soon, jackass.

Didnt Da U get emabrassed by bama in the 92 Sugar bowl...Yalls bunch of thugs jumped off the plane in combat gear...And got treated like the biotches you are.

To be fair... The SEC hasnt just dominated the BCS era. You might snatch one here and there...But the SEC will always be the best conf. To many big name teams to stay away from the spolight for more than a couple years.

History repeating itself doesnt work out very well for Duh U. And the speaking a sentence thing....Really?? The same kids that play at bama or AU or Fla or Tenn are the same kids that play for Duh U. And I say Duh for a reason. Its not like your school is better than any of ours. But you can feel free to try anything possible to act like you are better...

Maybe you guys should go back to the beg least...You might be able to win more than 8 games there. In the ACC you are second rate to such power houses like say...DUKE! And we arent talking basketball...We are talking football. UNC. Wake, FSU.... ALL out class and beat your silly little thug program.

Easy way to fix that....Beat us!

Did usc get as screwed as AU did in 04? NO. So that would make it 9 out of 10.

Quit cryin. The media bias is crap. Play in a conf that you actually have big games EVERY week. Instead of one game a year.

Please. Folks just cant stand to see a conf run rough shot over the country... And like I said...Beat teh SEC in a championship game...ONCE even!

Exactly USC dominates every team they play except one slip up at Oregon State, Florida loses to Ole Miss but they get in over them just dumb, the fact that you guys played each other in the title game last year just shows how biased the polls are..

you guy are a joke - you talk of some kind of education you have and your school brings, but all you can do is talk with that potty mouth. very professional. why don't you just shut your trap about all this "academia" you seem to have. you aren't any better than anyone else.

btw - 92 - ring a bell? you know that @$$ whooping at the hands of the Tide - that was "back in the day"

    Gotta disagree on this.

2003 USC beat Auburn 23-0. Auburn turned around and lost 17-3 to GT the following week. Then, abandoned the stupid zone blocking scheme that new OC Hugh Nall installed. Three weeks later, we beat #7 Tennessee and followed that up with a win at #7 Arkansas.

The 2004 Auburn team played one close game (10-9 win over #5 LSU). The Sugar Bowl against Va Tech was 16-13 but was close only on the scoreboard (16-0 after 3 quarters).

What was most annoying about the 2004 season was that the clowns on ESPN kept saying if Auburn beats Georgia, we'll vote them #2. Now, they need to prove it on the field against Bama. If they beat UT a second time, we'll vote them #2. None of them ever moved Auburn up. That was when I knew ESPN sucked.

Dude c'mon your not serious do you realize how good that USC team was? They shut down AD what do you think they would do to Ronnie Brown, not only did they have one of the best players in CFB with Reggie Bush but their defense was nasty. Their considered one of the best teams of all-time for a reason and you guys barely beat VT, child plz.....

    2004 USC

    vs. Stanford (4-7 Record) 31-28
    vs. Cal (10-2 Record) 23-17
vs. Oregon St (7-5 Record) 28-20
    vs. UCLA(6-6 Record) 29-24

Yes, they were a stacked team. No, they would not have destroyed Auburn. The fact that the SEC has won 7 in a row confirms that Auburn belonged in the national title game that season.

Stoops is 1-5 in his last 6 BCS games. Average loss has been 13.4 points.

I have no clue what the SEC's record in the following years has anything with the current year, but anyways they played you the year before at Auburn and beat you down. One year later they were 10xx better any 1 can have a close game during the regualr season but the fact they beat OU 55-19 in the title game and you barely beat VT you cant argue. They basically had a NFL player at almost every position, Tommy Tubberville vs. Pete Caroll in a NC game talk bout a mismatch...

The fact that the SEC has never lost a bcs title game means something.

Auburn was up 16-0 in the fourth. The final TD that Va Tech scored was because our first round corner -- not the second or fifth rounders that also inhabited the secondary -- slipped on the turf for the ONLY td he allowed all season.

Fact is that Auburn dominated the SEC for 8 of our 9 contests and USC merely escaped the regular season

That's a lot of excuses man at the end of the day the score was close unlike USC's beat down, what auburn did in 04 has no correlation of what alabama did in 12. The SEC hasn't faced USC or the U at full strength their playing average opponents who can't match the speed and physicality of the SEC. 04 USC can match up with any team in the history of football..

Smooth is correct. Maybe Auburn should have been in that game but they would have been smashed by SC. Probably not as badly as OU though.

Just don't make them play 4-7 Stanford or 6-6 UCLA, because they'll struggle to survive..

In 09 bcsng, USC definitely beats down florida, but in 05 bcsng AU has not shot? Got it.

The would be championships for both of those teams was played in 05 and 09. That's what they're referred to as. Bama just won the 2013 bcs national championship. You claimed 04 USC would've wiped the floor with auburn, but they beat 4-7 Stanford by 3 and 6-6 UCLA by 5. This is the team that you said could match up with any team ever. Maybe on paper it appeared that way, but on the field they had plenty of close calls with average and bad teams.

Every team has a couple of close games when you're going through the schedule but when you get 30 days to prepare for a team its a whole different ball game. USC 04 would of destroyed Auburn in the NC game if you recall the year beofre they beat them 23-0 at Auburn..

WGAS about the season before? Auburn lost 5 games that year. In 03 they also lost to UGA 27-6, LSU 31-7, and ole miss 24-20. Going by your logic the should've had no shot to beat LSU and UGA. However, they beat ole miss 35-14, LSU 10-9, and UGA 24-6. How the hell did that happen when UGA and LSU blew them out the previous year?
