Japan has a completely different culture than ours. If Americans tried to uphold honor like the Japanese then it would be a different story. I mean were talking about a culture where men commit suicide for offending people or by letting loved ones down. America is a highly populated, multi cultural nation with ghetto's on one corner and wealthy neighborhoods on the next. If there was ever a place where people needed guns for protection its the US.

And if the president tries to use executive privilege to bypass congress and the constitution then we will have a civil war in this country. And it won't go to well because the cops and military personnel who would be asked to take our guns are themselves the biggest believers in the 2nd amendment.

Its simple to me. Liberals want to make it illegal to own certain guns or any gun truth be told. How has that worked for drugs or for alcohol during prohibition? It doesn't work and criminals are the beneficiaries of such laws. How you can refute that is beyond me. Its illegal to own drugs yet they are everywhere and are obtainable by anyone, even high school kids.

And those figures on Australia are correct from what I've seen. Also in Australia you have to store your legal gun unloaded and must keep the ammo locked up in a separate location. Wtf? How are you suppose to defend yourself? By asking the intruder to hold on a minute while you get your gun, go to where the ammo is, unlock it and then load your gun? Stupidity.

Leave us gun owners alone. That or ban everything that kills people and especially kids. No more swimming pools or toys with chokable parts. No more cars or four wheelers and dirt bikes. We live in a society that glorifies death and violence, (video games, music, movies.)
We don't have the proper resources to help families who have a loved one that's suffering from mental illness.
We have lost respect for one another, just look at our political conversations or even conversations on this board.
