A look into Academics........

  • I know. Some of you care, some of you don't, and some of you don't, but pretend you do when your football teams aren't winning.

Anyways, the talk of the FSU President and BOT just got me thinking about where they would fit in the Big 12 and then I went further into it. Just looking at BCS conferences and using the US News rankings (which doesn't consider Boise St a national University, so they were just left out) and using what will eventually be the expanded conferences, as of now. I see what he (they) is talking about when you look at it, but does it really matter. 20 years of being in the ACC doesn't seem to have helped FSU become a top academic school and I am not sure how much it really has to do with it anyway. They would seem to be a better fit in the SEC or Big 12, but of course, the Florida, UGA, USCe, and Kentucky alliance won't allow them to get in the SEC, so the Big 12 would seem better.
