How the hell did Bjoern Werner get 1st team AA? Dude had a good game against UF, but the rest of his stats are pretty pedestrian.

Mid first to mid second. Depends on how he does in the senior bowl, combine and his bowl game. His sheer athleticism and ball skills are hard to match and he's a film room guru. He needs to be more aggressive in run support, but that can be taught.
He's one award (FWAA) from being the school's first unanimous first-team All-American. It's possible he gets his number retired.

Yeah I guess 13 sacks, and tied for 1st in sacks is really pedestrian. He also has over 20 tackles for loss, and is projected as the top end by some services.

Dude was racking up sacks against Savannah St and Wake Forest.

Good thing you are not an NFL GM or scout, because they all have different opinons than you the armchair GM. Also the games he did not get sacks in he still made an impact by getting pressure on the QB and forceing the QB to throw the ball away. He was also getting double teamed and held most games without any calls. Like in I believe the NC State game when he was damn near choke slammed, and it was not called.

Just because a player as pinned as a high draft pick does not in any way mean he is going to be an automatic 1st team AA.
AJ Jenkins and Bruce Irvin are perfect examples.

Where is Denzel Nkemdiche? 3 int/48 yds, 78 total tackles, 12 tfl, 3 sacks/22 yds, 4 pass break ups, 4 forced fumbles, 3 qb hurries......not to mention he is a 5'10" 200lb freshman...Taz is a beast

Why exactly is he one of the best DEs in the nation? Because he is playing acc competition and plays on FSU? Exactly, literally every single one of your players are overrated. EJ Manuel? Yeah no thanks. Who is that garbage MLB that y'all drool over, with the gold toofs? Yeah he sucks too.
