I agree that is is a very small minority. One of the main reasons for my thing is because I have plenty of friends that are Bama grads. Most of the people I hang out with are Bama grads but I don't know any UGA grads that I hang out with regularly. I guess I've grown to understand that Bama fans for the most part aren't that bad.

Honestly the AU/Georgia rivalry hasn't seemed heated until last year when Georgia fans cried like girls cause Nick Fairley tackled too hard.

This makes me sick to my stomach- how they are handling the protection or lack thereof of the rivalry games, namely Georgia-Auburn. It's not right and it's backwards thinking..all for what? financial gains from the cupcake games they'll play instead??

Yeah, you're 100% correct about that and the obvious reason for it- financial gain, is not justfied. So what if a walk in the park game on the schedule is a guranteed win...why on earth would you replace a rivalry game for that? By doing that, what kind of message are you sending to those alumni and fan bases of UGA/Auburn in the first place?

That's the whole point...you're absolutely right about that, but extend the example of Georgia-Auburn to any other rivalry and those fan bases will feel the same way. Slive can't go about it looking at it from the strict perspective of $$. This is the SEC...it has rich history and not trying to preserve it, simply by extending the schedule to 9 games is just arrogant and selfish.
