"Oregon, ASU and USC are my three favorites," Latu said. "Those three schools have been recruiting me hard but Oregon has been coming the hardest. I have been talking to the defensive line coach from Oregon a lot and coach (Chip) Kelly sends me hand written mail every week."
Latu has taken unofficial visits to Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado State where his brother plays.
He is currently setting up visits to his three top schools. He is setting up a visit to Oregon when they host Arizona. ASU will also get a visit.
Coach Joe Barry from USC remains in contact with Latu, but the Trojans have not offered.

"I like the coaches at Oregon," Latu said. "ASU is the hometown school and I have a good bond with the coaching staff. USC is a great program with lots of tradition."
