sounds like he was getting impatient not getting any touches last year. And didn't feel he fit our system. Which I don't really understand, but that's what he said. Our staff wanted to redshirt him last year and he didn't want to, so he didn't and now he seems mad that he wasted a year not getting carries. He's also behind Ameer Abdullah who is the same age so maybe he realized he wasn't going to be handed the spot, so he's leaving. Shitty situation because I thought he'd be really good. Also, surprised he's leaving because his brother is on the roster.
Im just hoping some other guys don't leave. Bo has a history of burning a redshirt and the player not even playing he did it with Jamal Turner and Tyler Moore last year too.

No disrespect intended, but he seemed to be a lot more drama than product. From his whiny tweets about playing time to his homesick tweets, I figured it was only a matter of time before he left. Doesn't really hurt Nebraska. We had a logjam at running back.
I wish him the best and hope he succeeds wherever he decides to go.

Heard may end up moving back to offense. If so, our log jam would still somewhat be intact with Burkhead, Abdullah, Heard, Cross. Either way, we're still in a very good position as far as our I-backs go. Burkhead will carry a lot of the load this year, while Ameer will try to lighten it as much as he can. I've said from the beginning that I like AA better than AG and I think he has the potential to be something really special at Nebraska.
