About to make the long journey back home.

Setting out in approximately 30 minutes. Leaving the beaches of NC and going back home to WV. I'm excited and sad at the same time.
Its been a good 7 year run down here. Gonna miss the warmer weather. Friend just told me that its a high of 16 today in Parkersburg, WV. Not sure I can handle craziness like that.
Anyway... Wish me a good trip! Like Motley Crue said... Home Sweet Home!!

I've done that twice, just different areas. Home was never the same for me. When I'm home, I can't wait to leave and get back. Hope it will be different for you.

It was 14 hours for us from Maine to Germany. Or was it from Maine to Germany to Kuwait was 14 hours? I don't remember, but I do know that the flight in the C-130 from Kuwait to Iraq was the worst flight I have ever been on.

What part of NC were you living in? I used to do a lot of work in New Bern, NC and Nags Head, NC.
I lived in Cary, NC when I was up there. Wished our engineering firm did more work on the coast when I was up there though.

Jacksonville. Live in Swansboro, but Jacksonville is the closest bigger city.
