The ACC gives out participation trophies. He said if they win on Saturday, they will get a Trophy. Are you kidding me.
I lost a sig bet. that is why I have these sigs until November 7, 2013.

Another reason for FSU to leave the ACC. This guy is an ass clown. That would be funny if he went to a local trophy company and gave it to the team.

It technically is still considered a division championship for Clemson. At least in the SEC, anybody tied is a co-division champion. The tiebreaker just determines the representative -- not the champion.

This is the same team that got rings made for an 11 win season, so this thread is pretty comical.
A few years back this very same thing happened to their basketball program. IIRC, they lost to Florida head to head, but still claimed an SEC East Championship in basketball because they had the same overall W-L record.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - With Tennessee's loss to Alabama on Sunday, the University of South Carolina men's basketball team shares the title of SEC Eastern Division Co-Champions along with Tennessee. Both squads finished the SEC regular season with a 10-6 record in league play. The share of the title marks just the second time that the Gamecocks have earned an Eastern Division title, as the 1997 squad earned the first in South Carolina history.
By virtue of tiebreaker rules, Tennessee has earned the No. 1 seed in the SEC East in the upcoming SEC Tournament, as the Vols swept the season series with Carolina. The Gamecocks have earned the No. 2 seed in the SEC East and have received a bye in the first round of the tournament in Tampa.
