    Maybe the basketball team should have taken some of the kids with Ohio offers, since the Bobcats bounced them from the tournament in the first round.

    You do realize that MSU had the better star average for their starters on Defense last year right? I wouldn't say that MSU was just a bunch of 2 stars.

    Do you realize that the core of MSU's team is 3* recruits with 2*, 4* and a 5* sprinlked in?

    That is without getting into the fact that MSU's defense had a higher recruiting * rating than Michigan's defense yet finished behind Michigan in Total Defense, Rush Defense, and Passing Defense in B1G play.

    It really is amazing to me how MSU fans view on recruiting has...evolved the last 2-3 years. In 2009 all I heard about was how Dantonio was locking down the State of Michigan and landing a bunch of 4 star recruits. Now they are basically irrelevant.

    Obviously all that matters in the end is what you do on the field. Duh. But the bottom line is Dantonio has had very little success recruiting against Michigan since Hoke arrived. Hoke has landed upwards of 20 players with early MSU offers- going by MSU fans logic on Dantonio and his talent evaluation skills, Hoke must be bringing in a lot of good players.

    Fun Fact here and I think it was xxmgobluexx who found this first, but during the RR tenure 25 players had UM and MSU offers that went to either school, MSU got 13 and Michigan got 12. During the first 2 years of Hoke's tenure there have been 22 and Michigan has gotten 20 of them. While that doesn't guarantee success, and I still think that MSU will be a good team, that can only be a positive thing for Michigan.

  • the RCMB is delusional just like their coach. Remember on NSD when he was bragging about getting the top player in state, which is true. I would say burbridge is the only recruit hoke has really lost to MSU.

    I am not trolling, just LMAO at people like you who really think its a good idea for a kid who has yet to take one snap in a Michigan jersey to be spouting off about how he will beat OSU 4 years in a row. Not real bright if you ask me.

    Reminds me of when Mike Hart talked all that smack abouting whipping OSU before he started at Michigan. He's still pulling the crow feathers out of his teeth.

  • Do the college coaches for the committed recruits encourage or discourage participation in these types of events. Seems that there is nothing but down side for the schools with players locked up already.
