With all due respect, i live here and have for 3 decades and in the past two, your state has produced far more flop and mediocre players than stars.

Farm. Hills Harrison was the traditional powerhouse and they've produced Drew Stanton, Agib Shabi, Ricky Bryant (flopped at OSU) Mill Coleman. CC has produced Mike Martin and i believe the best kid to come out of there will be Wyatt Shallman, kids a beast,

Seriously Ronald Johnson went to USC and did what? Will Campbell etc.. Devin Gardner? Kirk Cousins was solid, Tyler Hoover from Novi, Flash Thomas from OLSM. DIon 'laptop" SIms.. One could even argue that Drew HEnson didn't do anything but stunt Tom Brady's opportunity!

The perennial powerhouse teams are who? Harrison no more, Zeeland West? C"mon. OLSM, CC?

All Im saying and I think its fair even though it may sting, the state of Michigan is a hockey state, no where close to being a football powerhouse. Go to your recruiting this year anyhow you are salivating over getting all these kids from Ohio. The proof is in the pudding, sorry bud!

Well the fact tht Devin Gardner hasn't played yet because he is being the most explosive player in college football so that is too early to judge. Henson's problem was he didn't focus on one sport and stunted his development, otherwise he would have probably been the best QB in Michigan's history. Jake Long isn't doing to bad is he? James Ross is going to be a great LB coming out of OLSM, just a total football player with the physical tools to be special. Will Gholston is doing pretty good isn't he? How about his brother Vernon? He was pretty good in college. Is the state of
Michigan the best for football talent? No but to say there is no talent is asinine.
