    Holy cow, that's fast.

he's faster than Braylon, and Braylon was plenty fast.

I really want Berkley Edwards at Michigan man. These coaches have to feel their needs, but I hope they find a scholarship for him somehow.

If he was 6" taller or RR was still the coach, he'd probably already have an offer.......don't think he's going to get one from MI.......

There are a few kids out there like that. We as State fans got pumped when Hicks named us a leader and we had to remind everyone that Penn State was a leader prior to that and he had recently mentioned that michigan would be a leader if they offered. That's three leaders in one week. These dues are 17 and most of us on here don't know what it's like to have that kind of attention. It's probably fun but difficult to go through at the same time.

Say what? I don't remember Hicks ever naming PSU a leader - don't think he's ever visited us, though I'd like him to do so.

You are talking about Darian Hicks, right? I thought he always had MSU as his leader.

    I did.

He's from the state for one. Two, his pops played football there on scholarship and posts on Missouri's Rivals site frequently.

Always thought ND fans were wayyyyyy too confident in that one simply because he was catholic.

More to do with the fact his mother attended sister school and two uncles attended ND. Good get for Missouri.

    well, we will see.

RB isn't that huge of a need after taking 2 last class and having Deveon Smith committed and the coaches hot after Ty Isaac.

Ty is the #1 player left on the board on my wish list, but I still want Berkley. I wonder if he can play CB? 5'9, 180 ish with that type of speed is a nice start, but more important thing is hips and coverage skills. Wonder if he can show those at Michigan's camp if they'll offer him as a CB? I just want to see him at Michigan badly. His pops played there and his older bro did as well. Would be a shame to see him go somewhere else.

Yeah, pretty sure he has. He said Michigan or OSU would be his leader if they offered, but that's not really the same as calling us his leader. MSU is his leader and pretty sure always has been.

Ren coach was pissed off at RichRod. The guy called out how Rich treated his two kids on Michigan on record.

I highly doubt that Hoke and Mattison would have welcomed Gholston onto campus and called him Tom Gholston for his entire visit.

UM might have done better at Ren.

With English and Collins at SE there is no way MSU doesnt get a recruit they wanted.

He's too small and has never played CB before. The only way he'll come to Michigan is if the coaches give him a late offer like Norfleet. And since we used that spot for Norfleet last year, we probably won't bring him in this year. I'd be surprised if Berkely ends up here.

pretty crazy that Jaylon Smith is that big and that fast. He's 6'3, 215 ish and he's pretty much just as fast as 5'9, 180 ish Berkley Edwards, and Berkley can really go.

Probably faster. Smith returns kicks and punts I do believe.

roflmao we both sucked last year, but we would have owned your crappy ass team. Sorry I forgot Bucknuts think they're going 12-0. Better hope Urbs sucks Rods a$$ this year to keep him happy.

Actually I'm not a fan of OSU, ND, or UM...my team is in the Big 12. As an unbiased outsider looking in, it seems that ND fans believe they have a shot at every top player out there. When in reality the team has been mediocre at best the last 20 years...well ok Weis did have one good year. With the way Stanford, USC, and Mich are recruiting and the probability ND will lose at least 5 games this year I just don't understand the expectations of attracting 5 star players.

    don't know about faster.

Berkley is a track star, his father Stan runs a facility where he trains kids for track and field.

Berkley ran a 4.35 at the Max Exposure camp last month and just ripped off a 4.32 at this camp today. Also ran a laser timed 4.5 flat at the Nike combine in Massillon, OH a 2-3 weeks ago.

Berkley can really fly. Jaylon can as well, but I don't think he's faster.

Think he's close though in terms of speed, and that's crazy because he's 6'3, 215 ish and Berkley is 5'9, 180 ish.

no, the times are not laser.

Only camp that I know uses laser times are the Nike ones. Berkley ran a 4.5 flat at one of those. Ran a 4.32 at this Adidas shindig today. Goes to show you the difference between hand/laser times. Add about .15-.2 to any hand time and you have a legit time.

  • Shane Morris has been sharp today, good footwork, spinning the ball better than everyone else.

Jayru Campbell, 2015 QB, so calm, accurate, nice touch. Also progressing well physically.

Chance Stewart had all the physical tools to be a good one.

Connor Rhoda ouy of Cretin Derham Hall has also made some nice throws.

  • Michigan commit Jourdan Lewis performing well as a WR/CB. Jaylon Smith is now locking folks down at CB but Jourdan beat him in their matchup.

whoa. Jaylon Smith is a beast. Locking up kids at CB now? No wonder he's a 5* athlete. Kid is a freak.

Jaylon Smith and Cravens are the two best pure athletes I have seen this year.

Wow. Campell, O'Neil, boo boo, turner, shaw, ect the list goes on and on for MI &OH players highly ranked that didn't pan out . There is a lot more to football than star rankings. Um fans should know that. Pure speculation on all the players you listed.

Sure spin it any way you want, but bottom line when you look at any national champion in the past 5 years, they had atleast several top 10 recruiting classes. Recruiting classes dont guarantee you anything, but if you dont get multiple highly rated classes in consecutive years, it guarantees you not being in the upper echelon.
