Adidas Invitational updates

you did start it, and seem pretty jealous of our recruits...worry about your own.

James Onwulu is a ND recruit I believe. Regardless didn't mean to start a flame war. If James O burns anybody de I could get used to it.

Meh. ND has the unique ability to make elite players look average at best.

Is that why they have 1-2 first rounders in this year draft and could have been more if Teo and Eifert left?

  • I wonder if the writers just spend half their time laughing at threads like this where fans get into flame wars based on one line updates on how a kid is doing at a summer camp.

    It's why they're a subpar football team.

I don't know if it's more funny or pitiful, how people pile on.

stop sucking and acting entitled and arrogant whilst sucking, and try winning a bowl game more than once in every 20 years and people will stop piling on ND, IYAM.

Get proven wrong, switch the subject to the team.

    Nice work.

So you think that ND has done a good job with the talent they've brought in? You don't think that a large amount of it doesn't pan out as well as it should have?

NDs won 2 of there last 3 bowls but nobody is talking about that. Seems like people are getting pretty upset over making a comment about a ND recruit burning a Michigan recruit. It's ok man just calm down a little it was not meant as a flame, I merely stated I could get used to that.

you guys really counting Hawaii as one of those bowl wins? I know you guys beat a down Randy Shannon Miami squad in a bowl recently, but aside from that, I think ND's last real bowl win was in 1993. Ok, so maybe not 20 years ago, more like 19.

Actually compared to most teams their top end (really high 4* and 5* do pretty well) I think the 5*s recently include Sam Young who started 4 years and got drafted, Jimmy Clausen who was a 3 he starter performed well in college and was drafted. Kyle Rudolph see Clausen comment, M Floyd 4 yr starter broke every ND recod and will be 1st rd pick, Teo 4 year starter and will be a first 2 rd selection. Lynch started and was fr AA.

I agree, 8-5 is considered subpar for Notre Dame...of course Mich had a worse record 3 of the last 4 years.

Whose talking about bowl wins right now anyways you posed a statement that was false. I corrected you and again your coming back to bowls. I'm talking about James O doing work today. Some sensitive people in this place.

BTW anybody know if they are going to have videos.

Do I think Weis did? Hell no.

Do I think Kelly has so far? Absolutely. Except for the QB spot.

True, Michigan was a train wreck for a few years. However, they still beat ND 3 out of the last 4 years.

I personally think Mich will beat MSU this year, but who knows anything can happen. 110k in Mich stadium last year and you would have had a hard time finding more than a handful that thought at halftime or after three quarters that Mich was going to come back and beat ND...by passing the ball.

    Notre Dame > Hawaii

Last I checked ND beat MSU last year...easily.

Find that quote by Steve to back up your claim yet?

If you're talking about the claim that Lewis beat Onwualu and everyone else most of the time...

"Michigan commit Jourdan Lewis performing well as a WR/CB. Jaylon Smith is now locking folks down at CB but Jourdan beat him in their matchup."

"James Onwualu gets behind Jourdan Lewis on a fly route. One of the few times Lewis doesn't win a rep today." (that means that it was a strange occurrence that Onwualu beat Lewis, which means Lewis usually beat Onwualu...)

"Jaylon Smith with another INT. No question who the top performer has been. After him Jourdan Lewis has been exciting."

ND throttled MSU last year, but facts are pointless in this it sounds like. The point is this is a thread about the Adidas invitational and it seems like your really concerned with ND and their bowl games.

Back to the original point of the thread does anybody know if film will be up on this?
