How in the hell do you know if he wants the job? Just because he said on 560 in Miami he wants to be there doesnt mean dick. I like Golden a lot and do not think he is a liar but a HC is just like a politician. What do you think he is gonna say " well you know I would like to look at my options" Hell no. That would kill his recruiting and put a strain on his tenure there. Every year UM will have to worry about him leaving, get used to it. He is a good coach who I promise unless things turn around quickly in Miami is using them as a stepping stone. The troll down there will continue to cripple the UM program as long as she is there and UM cannot compete with the Salaries of the SEC and other big schools. Also UM doesnt have the funds to help pay for his coaching staff. Eventually if Golden is successful ( I think he is and will get better) and decides to stay he coaching staff will look for other opportunities to move up in the ranks. He wont have the funds to keep bringing in solid staffs.

Last I heard, Pelini (don't like it) Fisher, Strong, & Davis.. Has Fedora's name been mentioned anymore? I think if the right coach gets in there, Tennessee could be really good really quickly.
FWIW I like Strong, Davis & Fedora. Just don't see Fisher leaving for that job.

The Vols have received word only a number of conspiracy theorists believe isnt true that Gruden is most likely signing with the Eagles. Many think that Strong is re-signing. Golden is apparently #3 for them and then they may go after Butch Jones of Cincinnati. Of course rumors are flying because the yocals are going nuts.
They either dont want to miss if they should or think Golden is elite because apparently its going to be an offer above 3/yr (like 3.2)
