Remember the name Chris Jones, the kid may be the most dominant kid that nobody (outside of the 247 network knows about). He is a 6'6" 250lb DE from Houston, MS who has tons of upside. I feel bad for the MS OL that he is going to make look bad all week in practice and for the Alabama OL that he goes against Saturday.

It is when he's going to South Alabama and should be going to a big D1 school. We put him on the other teams best WR this year not future 5 star Humphrey. We trusted him more.

Chris Jones was under the radar to start the season bc he switched high schools his jr year. I don't think he played but a few games during his jr year. He showed up to MSU's camp in the summer and blew it up and committed. The only reason he doesn't have a ton of offers is bc he grew up a MSU fan and has let everybody know that he is going there. He was easily the most dominant player in all of MS this year.

BruceBruce, keep ringing the bell. The most dominant player in MS? Have you heard of Conner? Get real, if he was that "AMAZING" don't you think at least one other SEC team would have offered him? The fact is he is a good player and should contribute in a couple of years. It is interesting how most of State's class have no other SEC offers. See you in Starkville next year. Hotty Toddy.

Going by stats alone he was the most dominant defensive player in the state. There is a reason he has shot up to the #2 SDE in the country by this site. Conner is an elite safety, but Chris Jones' numbers this year were unreal.

Conner wasn't that dominant at all this season. He is a GREAT HS football player who projects to be a great D1 safety, but look at his stats compared to Chris Jones.

Jones is highly rated by this site but not by other sites. He is 3 star in Rivals. Nonetheless he looks to be a good player who had a good year. Conner is the real deal and is a superstar, who btw will be a Rebel.

He's a 4 star on scout as well... Everybody knows Rivals is a dead site. Hard to argue with his stats.

Comparing the 2 players stats is incredibly naive. The Houston Hilltoppers schedule when compared to South Panola is like comparing apples to oranges. It simply cannot be done. Again, looking at offers, Chris Jones has only one, Conner has almost every single team in the country offering him.

Ken Miller , I was at a lot of SP games this year and to be honest with you Tony had a better soph. year than he has had the last 2. He wasnt that dominant this year

Cool,seeing is believing but he was dominant when I saw him play. I have a lot of respect fot the SP coaching staff and they belive he is the best to come through Batesville. I'm glad you saw him play and thanks for your opinion but I suspect your opinion may be a bit tainted you being a State fan who can see the writting on the wall that TC will be a rebel.
