Alabama-Mississippi Updates (Monday)

  • Were there any no shows? It usually seems as if team Mississippi has a couple players who end up not making it due to having to take state tests or the ACT (Liggins and Cowan last year)

    Yancy is like kudzu. You hate it, can't kill it, and is virtually worthless!

    We really like him at 247Sports, and I believe he is under valued nationally. Ver good prospect/player IMO.

    Thats a wild ass guess on his part. Bama fan would have more info on Conner than any State fan would. I have some very good connections with the kid and the SP team in general. Conner is a mommas boy, wants to stay close to home and wants to play from day one. Those are the two biggest things in his recruitment. I think he really likes Bama and CNS recruiting him personally doesnt hurt at all. In the end though, hes going to OM. Bama ends up with Bell, who is a very nice player as well.

    Yeah it's nothing I didn't expect from day one with him being from SP. Oh well.

    when you see people saying hes going to bama, its usually one of two things
    1 - a bama fan that thinks they can get whoever they want no matter what - which usually isnt all that off base
    2 - one of my fellow state fans that just doesnt want to see him at OM

    Conner has said the entire time he was going to announce after his visits. I think as of now, he is going to commit at the UAA game.
