I'm a little confused... On a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, who wouldn't want to tailgate, drink, BBQ, see friends and family, watch some football, and hit the nightlife? I mean sure, I could golf or I might be out of town (the latter was true for me) but hell, sounds like a good Saturday to me.

Nothing wrong with it at all. There is not much I enjoy more than tailgating. I just find it odd that a spring game has 75,000 people at it.

To be honest, I could care less about the actual game. The A-Day game is pretty damn boring. Sure, it's nice to just see the team out there playing again after the long winter hiatus, but really, it's in no way exciting. Even when something good happens, like Yeldon busting a big run or AJ hitting Bell for a long touchdown or Lester picking off a pass, it's a mixed bag of feelings of, "That was a great play!" and, "Why did our (offense/defense) suck?"
A-Day IMO is all about seeing everyone again, tailgating, and hitting the Strip.

To all those saying we have "nothing better to do" in Alabama, what did you actually do last Saturday that was so awesome? I personally skipped the game to go to the pool with some friends but I just don't know what you "others" could be doing at 2pm on a Saturday that is sooo much better than going to a Spring game. Considering how much time some of you spend on this board (especially Scooter, God bless him), it's kind of ironic. You spend hours upon hours talking about football on here, even on the weekends...
