To all those saying we have "nothing better to do" in Alabama, what did you actually do last Saturday that was so awesome? I personally skipped the game to go to the pool with some friends but I just don't know what you "others" could be doing at 2pm on a Saturday that is sooo much better than going to a Spring game. Considering how much time some of you spend on this board (especially Scooter, God bless him), it's kind of ironic. You spend hours upon hours talking about football on here, even on the weekends...

Ok then. I have friends who went to the beach last weekend. Gulf Shores, ALABAMA. Most states don't have that luxury in early April because it's either too cold where they live or they simply don't have beaches in their states (or their beaches suck compared to the white, sandy beaches of the Gulf). Other than the beach, lake, or pool (things AL has plenty of), I don't know what someone could be doing on a Saturday afternoon that is so awesome. Unless it's skydiving (done that here), or going to a casino (couple hour drive away, almost went last weekend actually).
The rest of you, please enlighten me on what you were doing. Chances are I've been to your states and must have missed these mysterious, badass Saturday afternoon activities.

That's impressive. I can respect that about OSU.
That said, we are splitting a population of about 4.8 million in Alabama between Bama and Auburn fans. OSU is the only major program in a state of about 11.5 million. Per capita, Bama fans pack games/Spring games like no other. Nebraska only has about 1.8 million people but again, they're the only program in the state but they do a great job as well.
Either way, there must not be too much to do up there in Ohio if that many of y'all are going to a practice. That's gotta suck...

Well fist I woke up at 9, friends came over for 10, we left my house went to daquries, then drove 10 mins up the road and spent the rest of the day walking around the French quarter for French quarter fest listening to free bands and drinking all day. Then we went to bourbon, hit up a few clubs, then came back down to chalmette and went to another bar and listened to my friends band, and returned home around 2:30. Sounds like a pretty badass day to me
