    I have NO problem with a kid backing out of his commitment because the coach he wanted to play for got FIRED and hit with a 5 year SHOW CLAUSE because he lied to the NCAA. None. Zilch. Nada. Not even a little. Anymore stupid questions you want to ask?

    11-2 and a BCS win in a guys first year coaches isn't exactly mediocrity. Neither is his recruiting. I think we gun b OK wif Brady Hoke. biggrin

    but wait, there were reports that he talked to coach Fickell and reconfirmed his commitment and said he wanted to be the leader for his class.... only to take a visit to UM and commit there.

    so its cool if other guys visit your school while committed to another, but very shameful if they visit another school while committed to you? do you see the problem here.....

    its ok... we all have double-standards when it comes to our beloved team.

    So you are OK with that.... so if Hoke gets axed cause he interviewed but doesn't get the job you would have no problems with it... and yes I have read it, but I have also read post that say otherwise that he does pull the offer... maybe those post meant that one particular incident but they never specified... and I am not talking this thread cause this has been discussed before

  • Kyle was committed elsewhere and Hoke encouraged him to switch. And so was Brionte Dunn. It was smart to go after committed kids, especially when a kid shows a hint of interest.

    We as fans put way too much faith in a kids decision .... that is why they always say a verbal commitment is non binding.... cause it is always subject to change...

    And in this case you're talking about our first commit and a commit who committed on spot once offered who had multiple top BCS offers before committing.

    To try recruiting these two is a waste.
