I couldn't agree with you more. The seventh kid who verballed to them this past year was all set to sign with them on signing day. He was at his school ready to sign with Alabama when he get a text saying they would have to Greyshirt him his first year. He stormed of the stage and later verballed to Arkansas. He wanted to go with Bama so much he verballed almost a year ago.....Then he got Sabanned!!! I heard it happened with a kid who verballed even earlier that this kid. Why offer a kid a schollie and then pull it on National Signing Day? How could Saban ruin a kids most exciting day. There should be a law against this. You have to follow through on your promised Scholarship to a kid. You are not allowed to offer and then yank it out of the kids hands on National signing day. That is cruel.

And the kid that commits early shouldn't be able to flip and commit to any other school.

That would be the ones that he cuts their 1 year scholarship to make room for the oversigned class (Sleazy Saban Process). Saban exhibits the bama win at all cost attitude well. It will catch up with him and he will move on.

When a recruit signs with Auburn, he gets a 4 year scholarship and becomes part of the family. He never has to worry about being cut. Coach Chizik won't throw him away because he is injured.

Weird, I didn't know Bama was the only school to use grey shirts. Tell me, who has Saban ever cut for lack of performance? Name ONE person.

Also, find me one player that has ever said they felt like they were forced out. Good luck.

For a coach who just cuts players left and right for no reason, it sure doesn't seem like there are any players calling him out on it.

why, cuz we only signed the #1 kicker in the country this year?

    Yeah,

I think we have done that the last four years as well. Now I love Alabama but I don't know what the hell happens to kickers when they step foot on our campus. Kids will nail 60 yard field goals in high school and can't kick over 35 yards when they start playing for us.

    That's the truth, Truth.

first of all bama has signed 101 players... in the last FOUR years. get your numbers right if you are going to play this game.

second of all, since January of 2009 Bama has had Glenn Coffee, Mark Ingram, Kareem Jackson, Julio Jones, Marcel Dareus, Andre Smith, Rolando McClain, and Dre Kirkpatrick all go pro early (and these are only the ones i can remember off the top of my head). that leaves 93.

Destin Hood and Melvin Ray both got drafted to play Pro Baseball. that leaves 91.

Corey Grant, Demetrius Goode, BJ Scott, Star Jackson, and Alonzo Lawrence all transferred to get more playing time. that leaves 86.

Robby Green got caught by the NCAA for doing steroids and left the team because of an indefinite suspension. thats 85.

And I haven't even MENTIONED these "behavioral transfers" or "medical scholarships" that all of you oversigning nazi's point to as your evidence for this.

SO SHUT THE FRICK UP ABOUT IT

Damn this dude went hard with it, lol Could not have said it any better than this. To add Donta left early and Kendall Kelly had a heatstroke that damn near killed him. Aaroun Douglass is now dead and there are people like Shannon Brown that will never make it to campus and that's just the way it is.

Must really suck to be so shitty as a football team that you have to try the moral high ground argument. I dont care if you're curing cancer, AU is greeting waxed by UA. Just win baby. All that matters to me.

I think Alabama signed 111 over the last three years. That is simply cheating. They should have an astericks next to their ranking. Schools are only allowed 85 scholarship players. Bama recruits 25-30 every year. They use these kids. Schools that honor 4 year commitments to kids who never gt off the bench should be rated separately.

FACT: Bama has signed 101 over FOUR years

    FACT 2: Auburn signed 103

  • This is fun.

The smack between SC and fUCLA is a lot more well rounded though, we throw in the academic smack (along with the ass wuppin') and who has the most beautiful campus, prettiest Song Girls/cheerleaders and smarter students..things like that.

We may have been limited by #s but our star rankings is up there with Alabama in this recruiting class.

    Congrats Tide fans.

The only prospects that care about getting "4-year scholarships" are the ones that suck. Seriously, good prospects know they are good and don't fear getting cut. Shitty ones do.

this - exactly....so much whining and crying. 4 year schollys aren't going to mean anything to 4 and 5 star athletes...

yeah i forgot Shannon Brown... Along that path, how bout Ivan Matchett who never made it to campus because of heat stroke issue? or Alfy hill who couldnt make the grades? thats 79 right there (and we could keep going) with absolutely no wrong doing by Bama.

  • Lot of pvssies ITT. Our team is better than your's and you're just pissed about that. You'd have no problem with the way our program was run if we didn't win or if your team wasn't so shitty. If your coach ran your program like Saban runs our's and you won as much as we did, you'd love it. The fact is he isn't breaking any rules.

Anyways, back to your whining. Shed some more tears for me ya little titty babies.

That would be a match up for the ages. Two traditional powerhouses with a history between them! I was at USC in 1970, and at the Coliseum in 1971 (not so good), excited to look across the stadium at the great Bear Bryant!

Interesting part of those games was, in 1970, the team that went into Alabama and won, was not even a top PAC team (ended ranked in the lower-middle), nor was our 1971 team...now, if the game had been played in 1972 - vs one of the greatest Trojan teams of all times, it would have been a lot more interesting as a Trojan.

Of all the SEC teams and fans, Bama has been the most respectful and trash talked the least to Trojans - while having good reason, they hold the lead in head to head games.

I enjoyed the visit to the Alabama campus and the Bear Bryant Museum...I was treated very respectfully there, and the area, wearing a USC hoodie. Amazing how many people remember that team, and my buddy, Sam "Bam" Cunningham.
