Alabama loss thread

  • LOL @ this thread, welcome to the real world Bama. and for those fans who say they don't care about the rest of the season , fvck you, Bama will more than likely back door another MNC

  • Good game A&M.

All we can do is hope K State and N Dame lose. Honestly I feel like both of them will choke and we'll backdoor our way into the NC game only to get butt raped by Oregon.

While I think you will backdoor your way in the game, in no way does this team lose to Oregon. Who exactly has Oregon beat?

  • Bammers talking shit all year and now losing is no big deal? Lol.

So beating shitty auburn and shirty uga would make you feel good?

I know you feel ESPN will put you in the NC and, well, it may happen.

Until then, act stoic, but know a bunch off guys that spank into mason jars showed out on your asses today.

Hell yes. An SEC Championship feels good every year. This isn't baseball. It's not works series or bust for most. There's plenty of bragging rights and accomplishments to play for.

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

  • I think Bama has a great team this year. There were some real deficiencies on both sides of the ball, however, that were not exposed until the past couple of games against other good/great teams. Once D-line was not getting consistent penetration and/or pressure on passing downs, Bama's secondary was hung out to dry.

Unfortunately, Dee Millner and Robert Lester do not equate to Dre Kirkpatrick and Mark Barron. I think that got exposed tonight (again) when a good QB and good WR's got time to work. aTm's offensive line was spectacular tonight giving them time.

Not taking anything away from aTm, as they were very good and played stellar defense.

The officiating was atrocious. We won despite the officials.

Oh my god i dont want to hear that shit. You got too many calls and ball spots. Your lucky our offensive coordinator didnt run the ball on bamas last series. We lost because of our playcalling.

Meh, you guys got a lot of home cooking and still never had the lead once. Great game, hopefully it's better officiated next year.

PS(not to sound like a dick but...), luck had nothing to do with it, we came into the game punched you guys in the mouth and held on to the lead, our team earned that victory.

Horseshit. The officials were trying to give Bama that game.

I wasn't crying about penalties, more questionable ball spots, INT's that mysteriously weren't INT's, etc.

  • We turned the ball over 3 times, 2 twice in the 4th quarter with a chance to go ahead. We let one get away from us, but we can still get to Atlanta and beat Georgia to go to New Orleans, and have an outside chance at getting to Miami.

I doubt Notre Dame is favored when they go to L.A. to play USC, and Kansas St. gets Texas last week of the season. Plenty to be hopeful about.

Yeah, those two top 20 picks at left and right tackle looked pretty damn good.

Zero favoritism was shown to Bama in this game. Ball spots have been atrocious all year from what I've seen. Did A&M not get two INT's with a third called out of bounds which replay confirmed, what's the mystery?

I haven't been here I was at the game. I don't know what people have been discussing but yes please avoid the honest question by calling me a homer.

Ok, I'll bite, how about having to review a TD that was CLEARLY a TD when Michael was at the goal line yet barely reviewing a very questionable spot on Lacy's short TD run? What about the mysterious offensive PI on Evans? Also, how do you explain it being a catch when a WR drags their foot in bounds yet, ruling that INT an incomplete pass, even though he tapped his toe in bounds before his heel touched?

Reviewing the TD catch was pretty lame no question about that, but how did that hurt you guys in any way? The fans can see the same replay that the officials can as of 2012 and although Lacy's TD was close there were simply too many bodies to rule it any other way than what was called on the field. They showed three angles and all you could see were bodies blocking the camera, maybe that helped them stick with teh original call? Not sure, just guessing. I have no clue on the PI, we didn't see it live and they showed no replay in the stadium (that I am aware of). The exact same thing happened to Bama in Death Valley so I feel your pain. I'm almost positive the dragging of the toe only pertains to a receiver who's facing the out of bounds markers and the heel is in bounds the entire play. I've seen countless receivers at the back of the endzone who had the same catch but were ruled out just as your guy. Like yourself I'd love to see the rule book.

Bama had two more penalties than A&M and most came at the worst times for us. We got that hitting a helpless receiver penalty after stopping A&M on third down, that was huge at the time. Many would argue that the same flag should have been called against A&M on Lacy's reception. They showed no replay so hard for me to say. What isn't hard to say is that I just watched the replay of the "Bama penalty" that ended the game and it's crystal clear that two A&M players on the right side flinched first, no question. The game ended on a penalty that we didn't deserve. Great win either way. Thanks for the post.

  • I'm over it.

A&M just flat out kicked our asses from coaching, clutchness, desire to win, and precision. And we have to deal with Manziel for three more years.

Unless, and I'm not trying to put ju-ju on the guy, he gets hurt seriously during a running play. He's a REAL small guy and eventually someone is going to put a rock in his ear.

Manziel is the most impressive player I've seen this year not wearing Crimson.
