The surest sign that there is almost nothing to write about in college football in February: a story on oversigning. There are no broken rules here. And grayshirts can never be forced. It's a joke. If you're tabbed as a player that they want to grayshirt, you can opt to go somewhere else.

People treat grayshirting as though it's a scholarship pull and it's not. It's a delay. And holy crap ... it's also legal.

Don't like it? OK. Change the rule. Or else STFU.

It's pretty clear that Saban takes his job seriously and does the best we've ever seen at competing for championships at the highest level of college football.

Well it's usually a damn good offseason. I mean we are the leader of what is right with college football. Auburn is just a fantastically, almost silly, clean and classy program that others will always strive for. We haven't had an arrest in quite a while. We never skirt the rules. NCAA comes and with a microscope tells everyone how unreal clean we are. Even our students don't get arrested in drug cartels like some other schools. Our players have great discipline and know if they step out of line they will be kicked off the team immediately. We may try and teach you guys some day.
