Alabama refuses to play home and home with Wisconsin

  • CtrlAltDel said...

Believe anything you wish. But, let's put the facts on the table again. Bama, out of the graciousness of their heart, granted a wish to this team that not many people even know about and they were afraid to accept it.

It makes no sense. They make money, we make money, they get national exposure, we win another OOC game. This little team is never heard of or even known about in their middling conference and could have at least gotten their name in the lights for a bit.

I am sure that is exactly what happened. no

What is Camp Randall? Is that a state park where this team plays or something?

Sure, it is what happened. Alabama offered them a chance for some big hype and they backed away. Their only saving grace, in the eyes of the weak, is that they stupidly offered a home and home series after turning down the initial offer, when they knew Alabama was in no position to accept it.

    Thems be da facks.

No, that is what really happened, in the real world. Read it for yourself; it's all over the football news sites.

The only places that are saying Wisconsin ducked them are message boards (Bama posters), and Bama sites.

Did you ever think that maybe a neutral site game didn't fit into Wisconsin's plans? Oh wait of course not.

  • For goodness sakes, Wisconsin played UNLV, Oregon State, Northern Illinois and South Dakota OOC last season.

This season they play Northern Iowa, Oregon State, Utah State and UTEP.

They just couldn't squeeze in a neutral site game against Alabama in, rumored to be, Chicago though.

    Pussies.

Right. They have Northern Iowa, Oregon State, Utah State and UTEP to gear up for and get their minds right about before going to battle.

Oh that's right, Alabama is all booked. Those OOC FCS quality games are soo burdensome. Even tho Wisky is "weak and timid" can't schedule Camp Randall because you are all booked. Whatever makes you sleep better.

lol Their plan could of been looking for a home and home. Not a 1 year neutral site thing.

Alabama was going to pack it up and travel all the way up to scary, dangerous, violent, and uncivilized Chicago to meet the people who go to some camp-ground to see their team play and Wisconsin just couldn't seem to make it happen.

No, that isn't correct. If you read through the spin, on every article posted anywhere about it, including CBS, ESPN, FOX Sports, etc... they all mention that the original offer was presented to Wisconsin and it was for a neutral, which they declined.

Then, they go off on absurd meanderings about how Saban turned down a home and home, kind of like all of you are, because it's a better story. And they wonder why newspapers and journalism are failing.

Well, it seems that everyone knows exactly what happened. Now news is coming out that the initial neutral site offer was to be at some, probably shoddy and dilapidated, venue in Chicago.

So, this kind of busts up the argument about Alabama not being willing to travel up to the scary, brutally violent, and cold North. It seems Alabama was bending over backwards to entice this nobody team to come and be destroyed but, they didn't have it in them to accept.

Agree man. Too many people that think they know it all. Especially people who have no dog in the fight.
