Alabama refuses to play home and home with Wisconsin

  • Spartan313 said...

    False.

Bama has a home and home versus MSU in 2016 and 2017.

    Key word was big boys.

MSU, one of 4 teams in the Big Ten, Indiana, Minnesota, and Northwestern being the other 3, to never play in a BCS Bowl.

Alabama plays in the SEC... not that slow, white, fatboy conference.

MSU, one of 2 teams to play in a Big Ten Championship Game, Wisconsin being the other.

But congrats on 11 wins and squeaking by a weak ACC team. lol

It'd been a long time for you guys huh?

They shouldn't have won that game.

  • See this is something I don't get. Bama won't go up to Wisconsin to play even though their arguably the most successful program in CFB right now. Scratch the Tennessee thing apparently coming next year, my mistake if truth. The Oregon-Georgia thing fell through because again Georgia will not come to Eugene. Not something we should see from conference members who have won the last how ever many NCs and claim superiority.

Am I missing something here SEC fans?

Long time for Michigan in a BCS Bowl (2006 season), never for MSU. 3 losses will do that to a team.

I agree. Right now, Michigan State is a Big Boy team. Michigan not so much. Let's see Michigan win 10 games two more years in a row before we crown them anything.

Would Auburn actually agree to come to Eugene, if so I'm all for another couple games. But none of this one-way crap.

Talk about a culture shock. I'm sure Eugene is lovely, but based on what I saw in Glendale, our ideas of what a proper tailgate should be are drastically different.

    Ok...

I imagine it would be a culture shock. Not sure how that changes anything about keeping to a true home-and-home agreement.

Probably not anytime soon, because we play Clemson this year, Washington State next year, and Kansas State the year after that.

why? So you can offer them a neutral site game. We all know Saban ain't going to Eugene.

    Jagstyle

  • on the flip side. Eugene will see B1G teams beginning in 2017. We not scared to schedule big boy home and home games.

Prob right, not exactly fertile recruiting grounds. We could always offer Urban, but don't want to scare him away just yet.

I did notice the fighting heart attacks scheduled CAL, congrats on scheduling some weak sauce out west.

By the way, if you're counting at home, here's a list of some of the teams that have won AT Alabama over the last decade:

Year Team 2007 La.-Monroe 2003 Northern Illinois 2000 Central Florida 1999 Louisiana Tech

What math did you use where a "decade" takes you all the way back to 1999?

Dude's just an idiot. Even with those terrible losses Bama still has more National Titles in the last 10 years than Ohio State does.

Yes, you are, called basic reading comprehension. Again for you idiots, UGA-Oregon was a mutual cancellation which Oregon began talks on because of the move to 9 games. UGA went to Stillwater, we went to Boulder, and went to Phoenix so distance isn't an issue for us. Oregon wanted out UGA said "ok".

Before you start typing some retort lacking any wit whatsoever, understand that had UGA backed out they would have owed a HUGE buyout just as Oregon would have had they backed out. It was mutual and happened because of the PAC's move to 9 games.

    Key word is BIG BOYS.

Alabama plays in the SEC... not that slow, white, fatboy conference.

Take out Kentucky's 6 wins over Indiana and the magical SEC is 22-22 in the BCS era vs that slow, white, fatboy conf as you so lamely called it.

Not as bad as the SEC having losing records vs the PAC 12 and the Big East since 1998, but the SEC certainly busted their own myth about SEC speed being too much for the B1G.

The Bama fans sure are talking a lot of trash to Michigan fans. Alabama must have really put the smackdown on Michigan over the years.

Anyone know who won the last meeting between Bama & Michigan?
Whats the all-time series history. ?

Bama must have rolled them Northerners!

    NcaaAssassinG13

  • Michigan won in the 2000 Orange Bowl. More importantly along with the record we are 8-1 in BCS title games. The B1G is 1-2. For Pete's sake Wisconsin couldn't win the title when the Ron Daynes, smh. Yea, bama lost to some teams that were far inferior but you all care so much that you keep up with it and you can't stand the SEC or bama. I couldn't tell you who Wisconsin lost to because I don't care.
