Computer restart has 450 of his 500 posts ITT. Well done sir. The goat porn industry is missing you revenue and they ate angry. You should come up to Madison. A ton of trees for you to poison.

You are horrible at smack talk. Do yourself a favor, quit trying; it makes Madison look stupid.

Saban is scared of Wisconsin lol

This has nothing to do with the fact that it is Wiscuntson! Anyone who believes it does is delirious( VERY)!

However he is very much afraid of playing a game in the north. But who could blame him really? His team is not built for that, no SEC team is. Saban is not an idiot. If I were in his shoes I would not do it either. I played high school ball in Ohio and N. Carolina and trust me there is a difference. In the north when November gets here, you do not want to take a hit. Every little bit of contact hurts, hurts and hurts. As a receiver there are times where it literally feels like just catching the ball will break your fingers. Then you have to play with your face red and feeling like its been in a bucket of ice and you can't feel your nose, even though it won't stop running. It is an advantage!

I'm not saying that there isn't an advantage for him at home vs Wisky. There absolutely is, and it is not the heat. The humidity however is an advantage. In the north and Midwest you do not get that kind of humidity, so when you play in it you get fatigued a lot faster as well as have more cramping issues. So while your team is fatigued and getting slower as the game goes on, the SEC teams are not as affected. I'm just saying If I were Saban I would not play north if e does not have to. If you were the coach at Alabama or LSU would you?

  • Its always funny the off season before a team realizes they let the wrong coach go. All Wisconsins success packed up for Pittsburgh months ago

Alabama tried to give you a chance to up your difficulty level and your organization intentionally asked for a home and home when they knew we already had other OOC games scheduled during those seasons.

Va. Tech in '13, WVU in 2015, home-home with MSU '16-'17. We need one neutral for 2014.

Wisconsin, I guess, imagined they could bump someone else off the schedule or they didn't want a morale killing defeat that could affect their team for years.

Neutral sites are stupid, why do you need a neutral site for 2014? Wisky's stadium is loaded with excitement and Alabama's stadium speaks for it self. This^^^^ is total ignorant bullshat and must be disregarded, Madison is worth going to even if you don't have a card in the hand, yeah there isn't much for recruits there but the networks will eat it up. The only thing that sucks about UW is their coach is a whiny dickhead. UA should take the challenge.

Why is Bolimo scared of Alabama? Why in the world wouldn't he accept the offer of a neutral site? Is he scared of a lot of teams? I'm not familiar with him.

Heck yeah he's scared. Have you seen their OOC games lately? Complete joke.

But seriously, why won't Bama do a home/home?

only have 2015 and 2018 available for a good out of conference game. that's why we wanted a one time neutral site game with wisconsin.

  • Sure glad the posters here are in the know behind the scenes as to what was released. Pretty weak argument saying Bama is scared with penn st twice, Michigan this year and mich st on the. Calendar. If you all want the badgers so bad (AU & LSU) please contact your AD to give Alvarez a call?? But they want to raise there OOC. So AU would be pointless

If AU wins at least 9 games this year I will eat my words

Bulimo said no deal, he didn't want to play Alabama because his team wasn't quite ready. Hours later, after he and the athletic department checked Bama's schedule, they called back and offered a home/home series during the very season they knew we couldn't accept it.

    Are all Wisconsinites this weak?

OH MY GOD. Do you make a living out of just making shit up? If not, I'd seriously consider looking into it if I were you because you haven't posted anything close to the truth yet.

Childish fighting aside (as I'd love to play Wisky), I know the biggest factor. I don't necessarily like it, but I know... When Saban first got here and started wanting to do neutral site games in areas that we wanted a better recruiting presence, he got his way because...well...he's Saban. But it was troublesome to the establishment. Our athletic department builds their budget on 8 home games. Fans sort of expect 8 home games. As a booster, I've heard them say this out loud in the past. So, now we try to do a big neutral site game against a big name each year. That way, you get 1/2 the revenue, it's traveling distance for the fans, and you still get 7 home games.

Now, we wanted to play Wisky to fill that big game spot in 2014. They refused in lieu of a home-home. I don't blame them, and I wish we could do it. But there is no way we're going to have 2 home-home setups going w/ the B1G at one time. I hate admitting it, but our scheduling has as much to do with money as anything.

That, and there is no way we're going to play 6 home/6 road games every year.

Big Ten teams only play OOC schedules in the month of September. The cold weather factor is out of the equation.

On a side note, I'd love to play Wisconsin but I can understand the reasoning behind not playing them. I'm sure Bama is not the first school to ever decline a home and home.

It is an idioitc statement considering we have still won more games than you over the last decade and Chizik has something like 2 fewer wins in his first 3 years than the midge did. Also bragging about playing Penn State when they have been mediocre for the last 20 years and Michigan State when they rarely win more than 7 or 8 games lol

Ok, guess will see how this season shakes out between the 2 programs, don't think you can really compare Chiz at moment given Saban has 2 titles and yes AU has one. Was it an anomaly?? Guess will see if he can win on a consistent basis without Cam.

BTW-who has AU lined up non conf? Clemson, been there done that and Saban started the Chik opening in ATL

Mich St-2010--11-2, 2011---11-3-Hmm--guess the last 2 years have been really rare. about as rare as AU winning a Natty, oh wait
Michigan this year opening up top 10

Meh. Whatever. I do put an asterisk beside every game played in the Cam Newton season. That's my only beef with Auburn.

  • Saban wants to play an opening game that helps with our recruiting. This is the reason we have played the openers in the Georgia Dome and are playing Michigan in Jerryworld this year. The games in Georgia helped open recruiting pipelines in their state and we have had fairly good success there. Same deal with playing in Dallas this year. I would have loved to played Wisconsin in a home and home series, but this is the reason it won't happen IMO. I feel that if the Bama-Wisconsin game was at a neutral site, we would have done it. We really don't have anywhere to fit them in. we play a big ooc game every year but 2015 and we're booked to 2020.
