Alabama refuses to play home and home with Wisconsin

  • CtrlAltDel said...

Ohio State? Ohio State has never put up a fight against Alabama. We want competition and a good show for the paying customers, not a dead fish flopping on the hook.

Football is supposed to be fun for the spectators.

So thats why you scheduled a home and home with MSU & PSU? You wouldn't even play Wisky in Camp Randall. Why not just schedule a neutral sight game with Minnesota and call it a decade.

Wisconsin, unlike MSU and PSU, didn't have the option of playing Alabama a home/home series because Alabama was already booked. Wisconsin was, however, too weak and timid, as a football program, to accept the challenge of a neutral site game against the program killers.

But, back to Ohio State. Why in the world would Alabama even think about scheduling Ohio State? They are cheaters and have a kind of bad reputation right now.

They scheduled a home at home with PSU because it's a historical rivalry from prior to PSU joining the Big Ten.

And they scheduled a home at home with MSU because Saban coached there. He has friends at MSU who helped him climb the ladder, like Izzo. AND D'Antonio worked for Saban at MSU. Supposedly they're good friends.

Actually screw Wisky. I vote Bama to schedule a Home and Home with Ohio State. That way Bammers can experience a (night) game in the HorseShoe and we can travel down to T-town and take over that place biggrin

You think Urban Meyer wants a piece of Saban? Ha Ha.

Saban beating Meyer routinely triggered Meyer's health issues.

Oh that's right, Alabama is all booked. Those OOC FCS quality games are soo burdensome. Even tho Wisky is "weak and timid" can't schedule Camp Randall because you are all booked. Whatever makes you sleep better.

Besides, Ohio State would probably just offer a home and home when they know Alabama can't accept after being offered a great neutral site game just like Wisconsin did.

What do you call a bammer who calls other cheaters?

Meyer hasn't even coached a game at OSU yet and, already, the crazies want him gone. They want to see their savior bowed up on the sidelines looking all crazy and stupid, like he is about to puke/cry, and then be admitted to the hospital less than 7 hours later.

Then they want to see him agree to come back and coach but only if he doesn't have to do the spring or fall practice thing because Saban might unexpectedly drop by or something.

I'm starting to get the feeling that Ohio State fans don't really like Meyer.

Blah, hell. Urban lost his stupid mind when Saban trounced him over and over. It's all documented on film and preserved for posterity. The sequence of events leading up to Urban's mental breakdown are all chronologically recorded.

    It's a matter of record.

I don't get why Wisconsin is bent out of shape about playing a neutral site game?

It's like some promising boxer with a few losses in his history getting a title shot with Mike Tyson in his prime.

But the challenger says, "I don't want to fight you in Vegas. I'll only fight you if it's in Cleveland, my home town."

The challenger is lucky to get any shot at all. Look at Boise. They play anyone, anywhere. VaTech in Landover, UGA in Atlanta. And they win.

At this point, Wisconsin is in no position as a program to warrant a home at home with the premier program in CFB. They're lucky to get any game at all. Again, 1-4 in their last 5 bowl appearances. Including a loss to TCU, and Oregon who O$U dominated the year before.

Wisconsin has never ever ever never accomplished ANYTHING in College Football on a national stage.

This is Wisconsin's shot to play on the national stage, and they completely chickened out.

As far as OSU is concerned. Urban Meyer wants no part of Saban. No chance.

Maybe Bama should go to Soldier field or Indy. Why does it have to be a southern venue??

Um but Wisconsin doesn't need to play Bama in the regular season to win the title, so your analogy is off.

I don't get why Bama, the "premiere program in CFB" wouldn't be willing to do a home and home.

Isn't Ohio State just a bunch of cheaters though? Didn't your coach even get fired for cheating? That is pretty bad. That's kind of like Pat Dye.

Repost from above. Plus the fact that they have other challenging OOC opponents on the schedule (referenced in prev. thread)

Wisconsin does not have the national appeal to be attractive for Alabama.

Alabama over the past few years has scheduled OOC vs PennState & Michigan. Those 2 programs generate far more national interest than Wisconsin. Also, Alabama has used the exposure to PA via PennState games to recruit PA and surrounding states, something that didn't happen much in the recent past.

Wisconsin doesn't offer much in terms of recruiting benefit to Alabama. And Wisconsin isn't quite on the level of the schools Alabama plays OOC as a brand.

Greasy coonie loves Bama and misses what he thought was his Daddy, Saban, and feels like it just isn't fair that a man he is in love with is at Alabama. If he obsesses over Alabama and Daddy enough, he thinks he can influence Daddy to come back home to him where he belongs.

These crazy, obsessive, low IQ coonies are hard to beat back because they don't reason like normal folk, or even like Americans. They are more like the weaselly surrender monkeys, the French, from whom they are descended. They would rather whine, complain, and harass their betters (the English) than to worry about their own country.

And much like the French vs. the English over the years, the French usually get their asses kicked for talking so much and being such an annoyance.

It was so funny, most of you probably don't know about this because LSU was always just a nobody for much of their existence. But, when Bryant beat them in Red Stick for something like 800 years in a row, their cheerleaders and their mascot version of Mike the Tiger used to come and hang out on Bama's sideline before the game started and would get their pictures taken with Bryant and the LSU cheerleaders would try to whore it up with Bama players.

They really didn't even want to be associated with LSU when Bama came to town. It was a running joke that Alabama didn't need cheerleaders when they went to BR.

Of course, LSU would have never thought of trying to elevate themselves to being Bama's rival back then. Only since their Daddy came to Alabama did they suddenly imagine they were Alabama's rival and not Tulane's.

Seriously??? You expect me to read all of this, well I can't. Deal with it
