If you're going all time the only thing Bama's got on us is NCs. We've got more all time wins, a much higher winning percentage, more conference titles, more all americans, and more heismans.

You've got more All-Americans and more Heismans because, Northerners being the highly intelligent folk that they are, did not review, study, watch, scout, or pay any attention at all to the Southern football players, practically, up until the 1960's really.
That's okay though, you're paying for it now.
Southern players were unseen by any major All American selectors because Northerners considered us animals and sub-humans and due to their amazing ignorance and bigotry, just really didn't think the South had any players worth studying or checking out.
Only in 1925, when Alabama finally made it to the Rose Bowl and the nation awoke to the power of Southern football did we start getting just a little bit of attention. I guess the sportswriters would have felt a little stupid having Alabama win the NC that season and owning the Rose Bowl and not even give them a little bit of attention.
Players from that team that won nothing, received no awards, and were never even mentioned by the biased Yank sportswriters were Bill Buckler and Bruce Jones and Claude Perry who went on to long and dignified pro-football careers but, evidently, just weren't good enough to get a mention.
Players that evidently weren't good enough for consensus first team All-American votes but, strangely enough, were good enough for the College Footall Hall of Fame. Funny how that is, hey?
The two guys listed below are in the College Football Hall of Fame:
Pooley Hubert made 2nd or 3rd string AA that season.
Johnny Mack Brown never received an honor from the bigoted sportswriters.
This guy is in the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame:
Wu Winslett made first team AA but it was non-consensus.
Let's face it, and if you are an honest person you will concede this point. The South got screwed hard by Northern sportswriters on the AA setup for decades and decades and decades. I realize that is something that many of you feel proud about but, at least be honest about it.
If not for this ignorant bigotry displayed by the North towards the Southern teams, we would have had a lot more AA's and Heisman winners over the years.

The best players in the country played for teams in the north because southern teams wouldn't let blacks play for them, but you want to talk about bigotry?

Historically the Big Ten has been the best conference in CFB. The SEC became good about 1980 and then had a downturn in the 90's and have been great the last six years.
Always find it funny when people give their "alltime " rankings and then put Michigan lower because of fewer titles since 1947. If that's your criteria then make it a post 1947 poll and not alltime.
Also find it funny when they count all titles from every marginal source pre Major 4 Polls for their school and leave them off other schools. If you counted all the minor polls that USC and Bama do then Ohio State would have 17 NC's and they also have more wins, better WP% and more Heismans then both schools.
Bottom line is this subject is an opinion and there is no right or wrong answer

Jesus Christ, man. We are talking about the 20's, 30's, 40's. In all of the North, there were like 15 black players total during much of the decades listed above. Get off your, "the North was a wonderland for blacks" propaganda crap you've been fed by ignorant professors and teachers.
You are really uniformed, aren't you? Tell me how many black AA's there were in the 20's and 30's on Northern teams. Any Northern teams, not just he Big 10. I'll hang up and listen.

you're high as a freaking kite. since 1947...big ten 30 rose bowl wins. pac 8,10,12. 30 rose bowl wins (in head to head rose bowls). from 1947 to 1960 the big ten was 12-1 against the pac 8,10,12. The big ten is a has been conference. period. osu has a bs gift title which nobody respects due to a bogus call and um has a split title in 1997 and that is since 1970. Growing up in the 70's in the midwest i annually watched the big 10 get blistered in the rose bowl. they usually came in as the favorite, and left with egg on their face. but hey big ten fan, you keep thinking you're special and relevant if it makes you feel good. The sec will continue to increase the gap between the two conferences.

Are you retarded? Could you not determine, by using your eyeballs and reading the words on the screen, what time period was being discussed in this thread? Southern teams had All-Americans right and left by the 70's.
I feel like you aren't smart enough to be having this conversation with us. Please stop talking.

Probably because MSU couldn't beat them if they tried. And guess what. Michigan has the most wins in college football history.
