Numbers aren't that important at this juncture. Georgia was playing atrocious and despicable football up until they started calling each other out in the media and had a team meeting. If you want to calculate numbers after the Florida game I'm down to listen.

I'm with bamabum. This is an awful troll. You can't be so obvious with it. Subtlety is the key in these things. Now if you would have posted this on the BOL Roundtable, you would have accomplished what you wanted to.

Since this is the stretch in which everyone feels UGA's defense has become dominating, I'll start with Ole Miss and Auburn, since Alabama played both of them as well this season.
Against Ole Miss, UGA held them to 234 yards and 4.11 yds/play when Alabama held them to 218 yards and 3.21 yds/play.
Against Auburn, UGA held them to 238 yards and 4.86 yds/play when Alabama held them to 163 yards and 3.47 yds/play.
Against defenses ranked in the top 25 in total defense (3 games), not including UGA, Auburn averaged 186.0 yds/game. That is 52 yards less than UGA held them to.
Now to GaTech. Georgia Tech was averaging 398.8 yds/game in the previous 4 games leading up to playing UGA. They then put up 426 against UGA. Ga Tech was also averaging 435.7 yds/game against FBS teams, which is only 10 yards more than they had against UGA.
Also, against defenses, not including UGA that Ga Tech faced that were in the top 25 in total defense (3 games), Ga Tech averaged 282.0 yds per game, which is 144 yards less than they had against UGA.
There are some numbers for you involving games after Florida to think about. When you look at it, it somewhat gets to the point of why some don't really look to much into the numbers UGA has put up defensively in these last 4 games as teams that have good defenses, have frankly done better.

Bama got outphysicaled and out played and out everything in both their two big games and managed to somehow squeak one of them out (Thanks to a truck bed full of Miles dumb calls). Notre Dame on the other hand smacked the crap out of OU and never even let USC come close to sniffing victory. Close wins against lesser teams is never the telling sign. It's how you play against the big dogs. Bama can rape and pillage The North Central Michigan Charter Schools and the Auburns of the world, but they haven't really done much against higher competition and no, Michigan does not count. They are as soft as an Ikea comforter.

I've seen TIGER. He got in a pissing match with another poster one time and he posted a few pics of himself in his bathroom. I would love to remember what that argument was about.

I like how politics always get involved somehow. I'm not a liberal. I'll vote for whoever is the best fit for my country, something a good 98% of republicans will never do. Romney is an asshole who has no business in politics, who did nothing but belittle women and poor college students his entire campaign and Obama is a mass murderer. Take your pick.
