    Yep, because 55, 60, or 65 yards for Ole Miss came on the fluke play by the Scott kid. Auburn's defense pretty much quit after that play. If I remember correctly, we didnt even complete a pass against Moo State until the 4th quarter

    you gained 60 yards in the second half and 5 yards in the 4th against us, only thing yall had going was the second quarter

    It was certainly lucky. However, the difference was that was only first down and we still had two minutes to gain 20 or 30 yards for a field goal. Your fluke play happened on 3rd down and you almost certainly would have had to punt without that play. You might have won anyway, but the game would have been a lot closer

    The fluke was your win over LaMo in OT. Your team got outplayed in every facet of the game..

    As for OM/MSU I think it depends on where it is and who is the most motivated to win. IMO this rivalry is truly one that you can throw the record out the window. most other rivalries are not this way regardless of the cliche.

    OM runs and exciting O but IMO MSU is the better team. Bama sleep walked throught the OM game.

  • Mississippi State is the better team. They effed up by poking the bear with their "We Believe 8-0" s**t and got their sh** shoved in.

    I'd guess MSU wins over Ole Miss 27-23. But that's not to say Ole Miss couldn't beat them. I liked what I saw out of the Rebels. Came in, played hard, made a few plays, but they're not in the same league as Alabama.

    So what is the difference in being lucky and having a fluke play? Two downs? You really will scratch and claw at anything to make it look as if you might have a valid point. Granted, this is the closest you have ever come to a valid point on this board so I understand your stubbornness. Point being that you seem to have an attitude of "if it happens to us it is perfectly acceptable but if it happens against us is it completely a fluke." Its football, quit whining and realize that a touchdown is not equal to 21 points.

However, if Dyer would have gone down, we would have 2nd and 4 at our 45 yard line with over 2 minutes still remaining. It would have still been very much possible for us to get in position to kick a field goal.

    Ole Miss probably would have won anyway because our offense likely wasnt going to score again. However, without that play, you almost certainly would not have not won by 21 points. I take that into account when trying to determine who is the better team. If you dont understand that, you are the one being stubborn and defensive

    I think Mississippi State is probably a better team, but I wouldnt be totally shocked if Ole Miss won if the game is being played in Oxford

    The Scott run came with almost a full quarter left to play, not saying it didnt make a big difference cause it gave a huge spark to our offense, and im not saying the Dyer run is the only reason yall won im just saying you live by the sword you die by the sword and football is full of momentum turning plays that are less than your every down play. And in all honesty I believe Ms A&M is a better team, if they werent i would think Mullen should just walk away. He has had several years to build his program where as Freeze is working with freshman and a team that went 2-10 and showed less fight than a pot head in a cheese cake factory.
