5*? kid isn't even a top 5 DB next year. He's tall but he's not even in the league with Veron, Nick Washington and Mac Alexander. Solid p/u. Saban will coach him up.

Rumors of Smart leaving have been around every off season for the past 3 years and it hasn't had any effect on Saban's recruiting. Of course anything can happen with these kids though.

True that. Our insiders had me under the impression that the relationship with Smart was the key component in his relationship. I'm just asking anyway. I still expect him to announce for UA.

From what our mods are saying, we are still in the lead and expect him in this class. They made it sound like he was leaning to us before his visit to UF and nothing happened on the trip to change his mind. We'll see. As with anytime we are competing with UF for a prospect, I wont feel comfortable until the papers are in.

This is what I've been hearing, too. Also hear that y'all are still hot after Jerami Powell. And JHC is a UF lean with Georgia second and Bama third.
