The odds would say that eventually Alabama has to beat
Notre Dame during a winning season for the Irish, right? No way ND continues this domination over Bama forever,
at some point the Tide is gonna trip on some luck and fall on a win.
It would be pretty unbelievable if ND was able to do this a 6th time.1973..10-0 ND beats 11-0 Alabama 24-23, in the Sugar Bowl.
1974....9-2 ND beats 11-0 Alabama 13-11, in the Orange Bowl.
1976....6-2 ND beats 7-2 Alabama 21-18, in South Bend.
1980.7-0-1 ND beats 8-1 Alabama 7-0, in Birmingham.
1987....7-1 ND beats 7-2 Alabama 37-6, in South Bend.Alabama's 1 win over the Irish was against a 5-6 Notre Dame team in 1986, in Birmingham.
Alabama finished 10-3 that year.I think the luck of the Irish finally runs out and Alabama gets the leprechaun off their back on Jan 7th.
At least the odds say - they should.JB23BAMA

Yes, a lot of luck. Just to be picked for the game after losing at home the last 2 years was very lucky for Bama.
But Colt McCoy getting hurt in 2009 was the luckiest part for Bama. That was a similar situation to this ND game, as Bama was 0-7-1 vs Texas going into that game and 1-5 vs ND going into this game. I think the odds are definitely in Bama's favor. Their due.
