It's to keep the game as normal as any other. When playing a road game, you don't stay in a hotel for 6 days.

All kidding aside, I do believe the Westin is a bit pricier than the Fontainebleau. Not that it will matter come Monday, unless the Bammers were partaking of the "Oh so accessible" night life.

Westin Starwood in Miami is where they are staying right? Crazy, when I looked up rates from the 4th to the 7th, lowest rate given was 2400 for the stay. Fontainebleau was closer to 1800. Maybe I was mistaken when I looked up the rates.
I had to be looking at the wrong Westin then.

Ha you guys are clowns, ND has the 2nd highest team profit behind Texas. This is 'been there done that' for Alabama, they know how to compartmentalize distractions. ND is staying 12 miles from south beach to limit distractions. During the last world cup the USMNT stayed at a farm in the middle of nowhere when the Brazils and Spains of the world could stay in Cape Town and Johannesburg...this has to be more of a business trip for ND.

I've stayed in both multiple times and the Diplomat destroys Fountaineblue!!!! Up until this year all Major League Teams stayed at The Diplomat while in town playing The Marlins... Not to mention they have a great golf course!
