So Gators, is he going to play on offense or defense? IMO, it should be offense, but I have heard that he lost some speed this year due to bulking up.

He'll probably get first crack at defense, but personally, I see him taking over for Burton at H-Back. For obvious reasons, I'm not sure he can be a good SEC linebacker.

My cousin is a coach at another school in his high school league. He described AA as a "dirty player" who "thinks he is better than what he is simply because he is bigger than everyone else". He lacks tackling skills and merely throws kids around because of their size. From the start, I have said that he was a D1 talent ON OFFENSE. He has the makings of being a productive H-Back, IMO.

I think you give him an off-season or two to bulk up with Dillman and see if he can play linebacker

And just to let you know about the talent that he is facing, 99% of the O-Linemen he was going up against were smaller than him.

He is already 245lbs. He doesn't need to bulk up much more. His bulk isn't what's going to hold him back as a LB.

I know you're hurting. Top 3 bust players in this class are Anzalone, Morris, and Ogundeko. You should be grateful you miss on the last one. Congrats though

ACL's are not as serious as they used to be. He may be slowed a bit at first, but the vast majority of players come back strong. Just like you, I wouldn't be worried about it.
