Alexander intrigued by new suitors

  • I remember the first 5 years I followed recruiting and Bama sucked worse then FSU and many others. None of these barely diploma toting bandwagon fans ruined the boards back then.

  • I remember when I first started following it in around late 2006 and bama had the same record or worst than fsu, but since they have started back winning there fans have become even more cocky and arrogant.

  • The fans that stick through can be arrogant to an extent. When FSU wins its next MNC I will be unbearable and this site will just have to listen.

Bandwagon fans are what pisses me off.

    Nah.

FWIW, TiderinFL is one of only two insiders i listen to on BOL. He has connections in South Florida and proved it all year this season. He is the reason we knew what we knew about Amari Cooper and Deon Bush before anyone. Everyone can be wrong and it's a long way to go, but he is not just some random guy talking out of his ass.

  • “I was waiting on this offer right here, specifically- them and LSU. I was happy about that. I’ve been talking about those teams since forever. For them to offer me, it’s big. It could possibly change things, but I wouldn’t know until it happens, so who knows,” noted Alexander.

“I was a fan of those two schools and I was waiting on Clemson, too. Alabama, LSU, and Clemson are some top schools I’ve been looking at. It’s a blessing right now. It could change things down the road or in the future. It’s just a process right now.”

The high four-star prospect was received the news from his coach and looks forward to speaking with Alabama’s staff in the near future.

“ My coach talked to Coach (Chris) Rumph and Nick Saban. He said he loves the physicality I bring to the table with my ability to run. He was saying he would do what he does as a coach, which is sharpen my ability and make things happen. This is the first day I’ve heard from them.”

Alexander is particularly attracted to Alabama’s player development and recent success with defensive backs.

“I like the players they bring in and what they do as a coaching staff with developing players. The players not only develop, they graduate, and it’s a great school academically. They know how to win games and Nick Saban is an intense guy.

“I like the way he coaches with players like (Dre) Kirkpatrick, (Dequan) Menzie, and (Mark) Barron. That’s three All-American defensive backs. Who doesn’t want to be a part of that and be the next guy who comes up in the program?”

The Southwest Florida product, who hails from the same high school as Edgerrin James, remains committed to Tennessee but is entertaining tenders from a plethora of other top program and has a few visits planned.

“I feel good about Tennessee for me. They’re still number one on my board. I don’t have a top eight or a top five. I’m still evaluating. I should have a top eight pretty soon and I know Alabama, Clemson, Florida, and Notre Dame will be up there. It might change, who knows.

“I’m going to Florida’s junior day this Saturday and Florida State the 25th of this month. I think I’m going to Notre Dame sometime next month.”

Alexander points to academics and graduation rates as a factor that will carry significant weight in his decision making process.

“I’m going to be looking at how they treat their players, especially academically. Academics is a big part for me- that’s why I’m looking at teams like Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, and Alabama. Those schools graduate kids and I want to have something for after football, which is why academics is a big part for me.”

Alexander has a grade of 97 from 247Sports and is ranked as the no. 18 prospect in the nation.

What "shit" again? He has been spot on for a long time and you have been somebody nobody should pay attention to since Rivals. But you're an FSU fan so I don't expect anything different. You just have no idea what you are talking about.
